12:03 Not just kebabs; a giant outdoor pizza oven too! 😂 Fun fact: my mum the Dalai Lama there years ago. Nice chap apparently. Also, the guy who has the spitfire in Moffat was my GP when I was growing up. He used to have several model planes hanging from the ceiling in the surgery. Much smaller ones, obvs. Also also, as you found out, the Moffat Water valley is where the RAF practices _really_ low flying. Below the level of the road in places. They used to do a quick left when they come out of the valley and right over my house! 😖 Anyway, just a few notes for the 2nd edition! 😉

I remember visiting that wonderful Buddhist temple back in 1996 with my two young daughters - a wonderful quiet place, and amazing to watch the monks at prayer, and peace. It is on my list for a future van trip as I have never been back. The Borderlands 320 sounds intriguing as I drove a chunk of the Borders last year while doing the N250 having taken a wrong turn and just went with the roads that day. I did eventually get to my planned destination of Otterburn ranges, and managed to capture images on the range of the part destroyed tanks.

Great video from you guys. We’ve just got back from the east coast from Bridlington to Seahouses then to Arran via Melrose and Newton Stewart. Arran was really nice calling at some of your favourite places. Your Arran book served us well. No doubt we will going back again and following your guidance for the Borders and Arran

You should have just parked up at the kilngreen at langholm. People park there all the time overnight. Or there's a lovely little park up on the tarras valley nature reserve carpark in the tarras valley.

Love your videos. I'm heading to Europe (Portugal) later this year, buying an RV and my first trip will be England and Scotland. I'm not a VW fan (bad experience with a Beetle my wife bought) but I really like the outside look and the inside of your California. Does it have a diesel engine? Has it been reliable? are you happy with it? That's a bad design where the door opens, typical VW design. I will buy your guide for sure as the time approaches.

Thanks mate. No we aren’t I’ve got 1 more video shot ready to edit but that might not be for another week or two yet. Then after that I’m not sure as we don’t have any trips lined up at the min. Generally depends on the sales of guides really as they need to cover the trips in the first place if that makes sense

How can you go through Selkirk and not buy the tablet at bakers and potted beef at the butchers, shocking. So much family history in Selkirk and visit during the Common Riding. Not like the old drunken days but where is 🏇🏇
