As a Monarch promoter, if you don't want to spend money/gold buying Roma or Richelieu or something like them, she is the go-to one for sniping. Best among t8 sniping BBs.

Honestly, the most impressive thing about the Vanguard seems to be the armor. I charged one with an Iowa and was trading at 6 km's and getting mostly semi-pens with the AP

Got the vanguard with the new shipyard. And it really surprised me too! Indeed very accurate guns, fast reload, and i still manage to do a lot of citadels. Have had quite some games with 5-6 citadels

That's great! I was surprised by the survivability, to be honest. So me and my fleetmate did test this one a bit more to confirm the data. But since I already have a couple of T8 prems, I'll probably skip it.

Can you tell which ships are for how much resource (especially vanguard and Belfast) I'm currently not able to install game

@@deathfromabove432 I got into a fight in my Bismarck with the vanguard and to my surprise the vanguard won at close range (Bismarck with secondary build without elite bonus)

@@alston2755 it can happen, both ships are similarly survivable and sometimes RNG is enough to make the difference. Did you try aiming for weakspots with the secondaries and did you get in auto secondaries range ?

@@deathfromabove432 the vanguard was a smart player, when he saw me coming he started kiting, so my autos only fired for a short time when we ran out of map. Yes I did aim at the bow and stern with my secondaries

Quite an interesting & helpful review. I enjoy playing my Monarch. It does quite well at medium to short range against DDs & is quite good at fighting with HE against BBs vulnerable to fire.

Thank you John - not immediately, but after the T8 bb guide will come the T9/T10, for sure. It's incredibly interesting for me as well. But The next months will be more cv/cruisers based on current polls.

I picked up the Vanguard recently. The combination of speed/rudder shift and accurate guns/quick turrets is really nice. I have built her for concealment, with a 9.83km surface detection (including historical camo). It's really easy to get some accurate shots out and go dark. Also running Beatty for the improved heal, so this thing becomes quite survivable. I don't suppose you happen to have any accuracy numbers for running dispersion mod in slot 1 + historical camo etc? I imagine probably something like 78-80%.

Yes, I think I did for the Roma, in the same vid, you might want to take a look. It does have diminishing returns but still increases accuracy, by around 5% if I'm not mistaken.

Wondering how many tests did u run for the dpm and accuracy tests? I find it a bit hard to believe that NC and Alabama have about the same accuracy from my own experience.

I know, thats why I'm making these videos, there are a lot of things that have never been clarified about the game. I take around 400 shots to get to those values, as you can see they tend to be pretty consistent for 406mm ships. Keep in mind Alabama has precise aiming, that would explain why you perceive it as more accurate - it is.

@@deathfromabove432 i would say that 400 shots is quite a representative value to test gun performance. When I played world of tanks blitz in the past, popular russian youtube content video makers usually also use the value of 400 minimal shots to test gun performance.
