Immigration and emigration makes theese predictions 1000x harder to be accurate.

Why are the 2024 projections captured lower for 2050 and 2100 than for 2022?

There are many possible factors, such as estimating a shorter period of time for the impact of Covid-19 on demographics, or estimating a higher than actual birth rate estimate. I don't know if I understand the intent of your question, but perhaps the material published by the UN Population Division can provide an answer.
