Hey, I beat my time again! (I'd say "already" but it took me a long time to get that last one uploaded {and now this one too}) This run was world record but I accidentally deleted the raw files after the edit. It's OK though, because I have the strange feeling I can go even faster than this... 👀 Run really is sweet though, it's faster, I'm in better sprits than the last couple, we bust out some new fanciness, and we don't encounter nearly as many performance hiccups in the ashlands. Despite the better spirits, sometime in the next 30 hours (I forget exactly) I drop 3 f-bombs though, hide yo' kids!
The thumbnail... This one for my subs, not the algo, lol! I might try a lil' harder with the next run, which I'll actually submit. You can rest your 'like' and comment fingers on this one, if you want, but who am I to tell you what to do?!
Part 2 tomorrow or something. Be warned! My voice audio is a little messed up in the first half of part 2! Game audio is fine but my voice is like 2 seconds behind the action and I can't fix it because, once again, I deleted the raw files lol. Whoops! It's not too bad.

What? WHAT!?! I actually found this because I saw your total video count and thought, "hmmm, I thought it was one lower than that" - so I went hunting, lol. I AM ashamed I didn't find it sooner though. 😔 Not at all shocked that you beat your time, or that you think you'll beat it again (I bet you already have). I've got plans off and on the next few days, but this just made it onto the top of my list. As the biggest fan of your thumbnails (I dare anyone to refute that), that's the raddest one of them all! ;)

@@christine_1849 haha, clever! This one is taking me a long time because the first half of part 2 is a little screwed up... My voice comes in about 2 seconds later than it should. I accidentally deleted the raw footage so it turns out I can't submit this one even if I want to and also I can't fix the voice sync and don't know how I wanna handle it, people might hate it. Or maybe it won't be too noticeable for people that aren't me. Also had 19 hour long migraine yesterday and couldn't look at a screen and have spent most of today curled in a ball too, so that's majorly slowly anything down. I'll put part 2 where people with your detective skills can find it. Maybe you can let me know if the voice situation drives you nuts once you get there. I think it's from about the beginning of part 2 until after the fancy, pretty boat break at 4:47:00. Hopefully I'm tip-top again soon, cause yeah, I do have this beat already. :)

@ThreadMenace Ugh migraines are no joke, I’m so sorry. I can’t imagine trying to stare at a screen, much less edit content with one. I hope it gets better quickly. What a bummer on the 4th of July too - hopefully, it didn’t ruin ALL your plans. I’ll definitely let you know about the voice sync. If the voice is just 2 seconds off, I bet it will be fine, but I totally get it driving YOU crazy. I’d probably feel the same if it were me-add a little OCD to that and imagine…well don’t imagine, that might make your migraine worse, lol. I figured you’d already nailed down a better time, this one already seems more “speed runner-ey”, even your movement around your base feels different. Looking forward to the rest (if I can find it!). 🧐 And the next one, of course. Happy 4th!! Feel better!!!

No time to watch today but you can bet I won't let ot set long. So sorry about the migraine, totally feel your pain as I get them too. Dark room, quiet and NO computer when they happen. Kudos to you for making it through part 1 - you had so many setbacks I kept rage quitting on your behalf. I hope part 2 goes more smoothly, but if it doesn't I'm sure the new record soothes your wounds.

Thanks, yeah, this run is really tough! With so much stuff that needs to happen over the course of so many hours it's almost certain something major goes wrong at some point lol

Not sure if you knew about this or not, but when you split stacks in inventory you can type in the number that you want rather than using the slider. Maybe it's a little bit faster for you? Love the content, btw.

Might be a stupid question, but would it be feasible to /die a few times and use corpse chests in the starter base? A lot bigger and would save some wood.

I like the ingenuity and creativity but not sure I would like this one in practice. The boxes gotta come sometime and I envision myself accidentally picking up whole tombstones, swearing, and /die-ing again, or out getting otherwise messy somehow.

Right after they fix ashlands performance and spears going through enemies! Haha, naw, I'll definitely try default permadeath at some point but I wanna get more familiar with the run first, still figuring it out. Did you see Trial of Tyr?
