I was genuinely curious what price range we were looking at here, so I did some online window shopping. A man does what he wants with the money he earns, so I judge not. Pure curiosity! You have just showed us roundabout $12K in clothing. I hope it lasts you many years!

10 pairs of cheaper pairs. Or 2 pairs of decently nice ones and saving the rest@@MrJerry160
@lt38805 ай бұрын
@@MrJerry160 Iron Heart is one of the best but lets not pretend the entire price goes into long-term longevity. Much of it is due to using old fashioned equipment, labor intensive techniques in smaller batches and niche-harder to-source materials all to serve a specific heritage aesthetic. That said most pieces are designed to age with style, not look like the ragged trash most mall brands that commenters are buying.

I mean no disrespect Wrangler, but this reminds me of The Fly where Jeff Goldblum's character has a wardrobe full of identical clothes. I'm sure my neighbors think i've worn the same clothes for years, but i know what i like and i replace everything as it wears out with the same thing. I'll often buy two of something that's new, because they won't be made anymore once the first one wears out. I collect vintage round-collar motorcycle jackets, and that Riders jacket looks cool!!

I have a large Iron Heart collection myself. My first purchase a few years ago was the 22 oz overdyed black Type III jacket. I never went back after that. Being a huge fan of denim and flannels, I can say that they have essentially perfected the Levi’s 501 style Jean in every way that Levi’s falls short, and they have constructed a perfect flannel. It’s expensive stuff, but since IH knows that they make what is arguably the best heritage Americana clothing in the world, they can charge whatever they want. For those of you who don’t want to pay $400 for some 21 oz Iron hearts, you can try finding some jeans from online Japanese retailers you will be paying about 60-70% of what they are sold for within the US and Europe.
