I respect the guy but he got let go for lies which likely got him that job in the first place. It's expected.

Not hating but honestly for a "fire jumper" this dude has quite the set up, my point is that people that consider them self's middleclass may want to take anything this dude says with a grain of salt.

This is old, but consider where DC might be if this seemingly bad thing didn't happen to him. He's helped a lot of people since. And I, for one, wouldn't want to get too close to the mainstream media demons.

Imagine publicly ridiculing every person who at one time in their life embellished a resume! Then it turns out the guy they replaced Dave with fudged some of his military record too. I’m sure they both were thinking, where is the harm in pumping up a resume for a tv show? You aren’t going to be taking oaths or anything. As far as survival skills I think they both demonstrated adequate skill in starting a fire, building a temporary shelter and sourcing water. If they were hired solely on that specific military experience to protect a civilian in a dangerous situation then punishment may be in order. To be cast on a reality tv show I’m not nearly as concerned about, if at all.

Hey Cody, do you not understand that the regular working class man can’t afford to buy a pair of 350-450 for 1 pair of pants. We have families to provide for and bills to pay… remember Cody, you’ve been blessed to make probably millions with yours ads and marketing on KZfaq, well the regular old Joe out here busting his ass doesn’t have throw away money like you do. Man I used to watch you videos titles Back to Basics…. That’s what you need to do my friend… go back to basics… you’ve become a simp and a goddamn sellout

just found this. here's another good example of your good character sir. I've met Mr. Canterbury twice now. Between those two interactions, and the hundreds of hours of videos of his I've watched, he seems to be a good man. And I enjoy seeing one good man stand up for another.

You probably won't read this so many years after this video, but I just have to say something. I truly wish I had people like you on my side. As I listened to you talk and watched your face I seen strength, courage and loyalty written throughout. I stopped watching the show after Dave left, and Cody followed shortly after. If you do talk to Dave or Cody please tell them for me that they made a great team. It didn't matter to me, personally, if Dave exaggerated his resume or if Cody had at some time worn slippers. The skill they both showed taught me many things. The two of them should have set up their own show. I wish them both well.❤

I have a large Iron Heart collection myself. My first purchase a few years ago was the 22 oz overdyed black Type III jacket. I never went back after that. Being a huge fan of denim and flannels, I can say that they have essentially perfected the Levi’s 501 style Jean in every way that Levi’s falls short, and they have constructed a perfect flannel. It’s expensive stuff, but since IH knows that they make what is arguably the best heritage Americana clothing in the world, they can charge whatever they want. For those of you who don’t want to pay $400 for some 21 oz Iron hearts, you can try finding some jeans from online Japanese retailers you will be paying about 60-70% of what they are sold for within the US and Europe.
