The wait is finally over and my Fusion is officially fully wrapped! (And this video is now fully edited.) Since we were doing this job at my house it was a lot of late nights and sandwich breaks but the wrap came out amazing! The colorshifting film looks beautiful and just walking around the car you can get a real nice sense of how it works with the light.

I'm working on personally wrapping my fusion in a matte emerald green. Definitely a lot of skill involved and it takes a long time when you're learning. This is honestly so helpful seeing some of how the pro did it.

Man, that wrap looks amazing! I've been wanting to wrap mine, and this has reignited that fire. Well done on choosing the color. Do you have any insight about what it should cost to have a car wrapped like this by a professional?

Thanks so much! And yeah so I talked to Leo who did the wrap and he said most wraps cost around $2,600. Granted you take the vinyl into account for that number but the labor itself is usually around $2k (just as a rough estimate as each car is different)

Enjoyed your video. Two questions, what is the cost of wrapping a car compared to having it painted? Is it more expensive or less expensive compared to a complete paint job? How does it hold up to car washes? Should you avoid car washes with brushes, and just go with touchless car washes? Will car washes with brushes scratch the wrap?

How well does this last?? My car sits outside most of the time. but I usually keep it pretty clean. i have decals on it now down the doors and acrossed the hood. And they’ve lasted normally 5 years til they start getting faded.
