Any type of SWEET potato works! The white ones keep the wrap more bread color. Orange and purple work fine too they change the color!

No we just make the wraps at home before we go and wrap whenever we want at camp! So much easier ❤️

Yes we have discussed and thought about this a lot between us but the investment of $ (commercial dehydrators are tens of thousands which we don’t have to invest) and the time involved (we would need to hire people - which is more $ - because it takes 15 mins to make 2….. an hour to make 8…. Which is easy when you’re just making yourself a meal - hard when you need to make 200. It’s just too steep to make these for mass production. Not to mention potential spoilage, people not buying them and throwing old ones away, people saying they’ll buy them but not buying them (which is why we had to close our raw catering business cuz we weren’t getting the support we needed to stay open) Plus shipping and packaging will make them very expensive as they are quite huge and heavy. It’s not worth it. They’d end up being like $25 (or more) for one wrap…. It’s so much better, cheaper and time saving to make them fresh yourself at home. Food service industry is brutal. I prefer to empower people to do it for themselves. Speaking of easy travel, we make many ourselves and take them with us. In fact I’m flying to Oregon next week and I’m making wraps to take with me but they take time. I’m only making 2 batches a night (30 mins prep each night) and it’s work, but it’s worth it to me. I couldn’t imagine making more to sell for 1 or 2 dollars profit after all expenses and packaging and shipping etc. It’s too much extra work on top of everything else we do and our own food prep. 🤍 that said, we DO appreciate your enthusiasm for them 🤍

You’re so so very welcome! Yeah there’s a lot that goes into production and it’s so much better that people learn to do it themselves cuz it’s so easy when you’re only making for yourself. Plus being able to make them yourself also always guarantees you can make them without relying on stock etc. so empowering to make our own food 😍
