That's a fact. Brilliant drivers & Co-Drivers with a stomach of steel!! After 10+ years of working in a crash truck, hauling the "dummies out of the weeds," I have to cringe when the spectators jump out of the bushes within inches of the cars at full chat! They think it's cool and shows how brave they are... in less than half a heart beat, all that turns "brown & sticky" on way too many occasions. Remember one of the big reasons the "Killer Bee's" were legislated out existence. Too many people in back wanted to see what was happening up front and they pushed those in front onto the roadway.

Absolutely megga what a shame that more manufacturers don't get involved because this is second to none for driving ability and as a spectator sport it doesn't get any better same as the TT your in the action.

The amazing thing is there is never any lift off. I went to the Swedish Rally in 2006 and I could hear the cars on the rev limiter going through bends in the snow. I have been in a car with Alister McCrae and he was in a different space to other fast drivers I had been with. I would put my life in the hands of a top rally driver - as for an F1 pussy....

Funny thing is, some of the greatest "F1 pussies" were Rally drivers! (I think it's actually required for your Super License!)

It's really annoying how insecure rally fans are, because none of you can say a good thing about rally without saying something bad about F1? Much frustration built up? They're totally different style of drivers, and F1 drivers are objectively better, because the road to get to F1 is much, much, much more difficult than road to getting to WRC. Competition even in junior kart series is tougher than in pinnacle of WRC. And there's no direct racing in WRC.
