Pulling the Ramen truck out of the deep ravine was good recovery. It was also a good video.

That was a very good shot of the Kabota going uphill it gave it justice. It was very steep. It would’ve scared me to ride in that Kabota probably cause I’m just getting old not that old.

Top Notch Recovery ! I Like yor idea to put a Tow Boom on a Loader.. That immediatley made me think what couldn't you do with a Cat D10 with a Boom and PTO Winch on it.. What I think it could definatlly do on a Hot Day is turn the Blacktop into a Motocross Track.. : )

Got to sell a lot of ramen to make up for that recovery. lots of noodles to pay all that equipment and manpower

You don’t know how much I wish I could’ve been there from the beginning to the end, and be a part of this. If anything, just to watch it. And, concerning how steep going down that hill was, I know how steep it can be because we have them just like that out here in Western, Montana and Northwest Montana. That steep, And steeper. My prayer is I hope you really really charge them for this recovery. Because I can almost guarantee anybody whatever the bill was, it wasn’t enough.

Ramen pallets weighed around 2800-3200 a skid from what i remember. You could check fork weight on the high crowns and i used to weigh stuff for shiz n giggles back in another life. That looked like a old wabash 53" so you could run 30 in 48-48 or 28 chimney stacked 48-40 but its not nearly as secure cause those swings normally had a 103" deck iirc. 60 skids of ramen in a sacked out old great dane with a canvas top shoved in sideways on the worst whitewood imaginagble doublestacked with about 1 round of shrink on each pallet. Oh the memories .... Good to see theyre using cheps now at least lol

Peterbilt are the best the old ones I love Cabover’s also that’s my day back in 1980 when I first started driving the international with a two speed axle. You certainly can’t find those anymore cause everybody destroys them. They don’t know how to drive them and it was a box truck install and finance offices, everything on the side of the Mississippi. It was fun it was work, but we got to do it as a man says stay classy.

Doing some crazy towing with no lane closures!! In California on the freeways I worked for Caltrans Department of Transportation. we had to be there for the entire wreck with diesels off the side. Hard closure until it was completed.

A tracked rotator would be handy teamed up with that winch box!

Awesome job security for your crew. I'm retired from the industry after having started in the early 70's in Indiana. I last drove for Shamrock towing here in the Valley. There's the daily jobs and then there's the memorable ones that are definitely challenging. This one is definitely one of those. By the your use of your cameras and your postings there should be no contentious discussion of your charges.
