I loved the Fernwood talk shows and the high point of every episode was watching Tommy Tedesco throwing away licks that other guitarists still can't play after years of practice. Amazing musician.

My summer of '77 watching Fernwood almost every night iin Los Altos Hills with my gf Judy was blissful. Mr. Tommy left the world far too soon...We love you, Tommy T. RIP soul man.

I still can not get out my head their rendition of Boogie Fever on Fernwood. Tommys guitar work is haunting in the backround.

Just saw The Wrecking Crew. Outstanding documentary and a great trip down memory lane. I knew a little about the Crew but was amazed at just how many hits, TV themes and popular tunes these guys played on. And what a cast of characters. Great job.

I'm a drummer and have been watching Hal Blaine interviews and the YT algorthm seems to want to send me down a Tommy Tedesco rabbit hole and I'm loving it. This was great. Thanks for the upload.

Got to accompany Tommy on a studio date when I was a student at MI in 1983. It was at Paramount and the movie was The River with the great John Williams leading. I still remember the details to this day and Tommy was a real great guy. Very down to earth and an awesome sense of humor. His seminars were not to be missed.

Denny, Do you know if anyone ever made a compendium or compilation of your dad’s Guitar Player Magazine columns? Or maybe someplace they can be downloaded? His column was my favorite part of GP Mag back in the 80’s, despite the fact that I’ve never played on a studio session in my life. I think they’d still be interesting and relevant to today’s players, and iirc, more than a bit entertaining.

"In this part, we need a guitar player who looks like a truck driver and he's from Cleveland working weekends." "I'll be right down." Tommy Tedesco definitely looks like a truck driver from Cleveland.
