Undertaker did share a locker room with Andre and Taker has said more than once that the only time he spoke to Andre, he said that Andre said to him that he has a plan to face Taker and he knew they'd have a good match. Right? Cena's regret is stupid. He was absolutely, 100% right on everything he said about *Dwayne*. The other big Attitude era stars all wrestled until their bodies gave out. Trips, Austin, Taker, Bret, Foley... They're all wrecks. Dwayne is in great shape. He quit because money, because he likes acting more than wrestling. Cena, like those attitude stars, is a complete wreck. Nobody stood as the company's biggest draw, in the big main events, for as long as Cena.

Here's some fantasy booking - Jericho being Savage's protege in WCW 1996 to form a strong tag team mowing down the tag division for a full year, only that the former turns on the latter in 1997, leading to an epic teacher vs student feud in where they each trade wins back and forth for 5 months before ending their storyline with Jericho pinning Macho Man at Starrcade. For many reasons I can understand Kane not wanting to wear the full mask anymore; primarily the difficulty talking and trying to be a full-go wrestler without much more than a mouth-slit beyond the ability to nose-breathe… That’s what I thought the initial half-mask was meant to address. He could talk and breathe freely, he could still have the larger than life mystique of a cool looking (half)mask and he could keep his long hair a while longer which would’ve kept his wife happy I realize that even the half-mask likely wouldn’t have lasted forever, but then again he went and started wearing that atrocious fruit roll-up looking mask with $1 costume store wig, so… Corporate Kane is the least memorable gimmick I have when it comes to the character, though I did like the team-up with Big Show, even though they were more silly than they should’ve been… could’ve been booked much better even if they were still ultimately going to be used to put others’ over

In end 1990 when taker made his debut, andre was completely done in the ring. He was only doing tag matches with haku and could barely walk shortly after. No way he could do a singles match at that point.

It's only natural to have regrets. But the worst thing someone can do is pretend something didn't happen when it did in fact happen. DX fought The Brothers of Destruction at Crown Jewel. A match that was a pure disaster. A match that essentially disregarded Shawn Michaels' retirement in 2010. A match that certainly wasn't necessary. They all have to live with that match. But the besy thing they can do is move forward.

I only found out the Crown Jewel 2018 match recently. I always believed Shawn Michaels retired at WrestleMania 26. I wish it stayed that way permanently. I try to forget Crown Jewel 2018 ever happened. That match at Mania was the perfect send off.

Exactly. Cena wrestled until his body gave out and he simply couldn't do it anymore. *Dwayne* wrestled until he got more money somewhere else. The two scenarios are completely different. Look at all the other Attitude era stars. Taker, Austin, Triple H, Bret Hart, Mick Foley, they wrestled until their bodies gave out and they couldn't do it anymore. Not the Crock, he just left because he doesn't have the passion for the business. He's like Lesnar or Goldberg, just there for a paycheck.

I wish that the Undertaker could've gotten to work with Andre The Giant. I'd have love to have seen Undertaker wrestle and beat Andre at Wrestlemania, and Andre being The Undertaker's 1st victim at wrestlemania. Also I wish the undertaker had never agreed to lose to Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Lesnar didn't need the win, and neither did Roman Reigns. If the Iron Man match between Triple H & The Rock had happened at Wrestlemania 16, It would've been a Wrestlemania classic. Stone Cold & Lesnar could've been a good rivalry too.

At the time Romans win was fckin horrible and not needed. Now tho you can argue it’s pretty cool and legendary that the now tribal chief was one of the 2 to beat undertaker. And if Romans legendary status keeps going up then I’d say that was a pretty good investment

I'm okay with him not wrestling Andre. By the time Taker debuted, Andre could barely stand under his own power. It would've been a Crown Jewel level affair. Also, I kind of like Taker's first Streak victim being a real life murderer.

How can you regret something you had no control over? The Undertaker/Andre "regret" is actually an "if only" wish. Same with a few of these. Vince is the one who should regret many of these because he's the one who didn't pull the trigger (or pulled it wrong).

And yeah it may seem hypocritical but hey, he is doing so well now.

I hope Cena deeply regrets not turning heel around that period he feuded with Rock. That was a massive opportunity missed, and why Roman imo has a better legacy than Cena for being brave enough to push for a heel turn
@GhostHyperhex
@GhostHyperhex Жыл бұрын
Roman turning Heel and Cena turning heel are two different things. With how many make-a-wishes granted, Merchandiser sales, and his branding, it'd be hard for Cena to turn heel. For Roman it was easier because he made everything feel forced being hero beforehand; so now it looks like he's taking it by any means necessary

Austin shouldnt regret leaving when he did.... It was the perfect time for him to do it. He was basically getting pushed down the card, even though everyone Knew he was "thee guy to beat".... So ultimately it was up to Him whether he shoulda passed the torch to Lesnar at that time... On a Random episode, after a Huge match the week before. Instead if falling down the Card, and down in general..... He Left on Top.

Yes, but he was way too emotional and unprofessional about it. He didn't have to leave for the rest of the year either. Vince made a ton of stupid booking decisions after he bought WCW (2001 & 2002), so I understand why some of the aging stars moved on. It was an exciting time though.

Im surprised that Sting vs Undertaker during his WWE run isn't on here... I am a WWE guy but as a kid I always either taped raw and watched nitro or vice versa. Sting has always been my favorite wrestler and I just think Sting vs Taker was the Wrestlemania moment he and alot of us wanted to see but sadly we never will.
@Holku0
@Holku0 6 ай бұрын
Taker is actually kind of a jerk towards Sting. That was always just a fan dream (and Stinger wanted it too of course). Nobody really wanted it at WWE, which is mind bogglingly stupid. Sting was a WCW guy, WWE never understood him.

@@Holku0 yea, I mean I saw an interview with Taker...wasn't really shoot...he said he would've loved to have wrestled Sting...they were both company men who never left their brand...the funny part is at the end when they ask Taker who would've won hypothetically...Taker says "oh I would've killed him" lol..but ya can tell he meant it in a joking way...I'm sure u know why Sting was so hesitant to join in 2001...he was worried about how Vince would handle his character that he spent decades building...I loved his WWE run...I wish it would've been longer and he had come back to wwe instead of aew which is slowing turning into later WCW lol... he's my all time favorite and I just wish he had gotten more of a chance to develop a continuing storyline...like the feud with the authority was cool, Sting comes in to avenge the brand against a tyrannical faction just like what he did during the NWO invasion...and I truly believe that the reason he lost to HHH at Wrestlemania was due to Vince... I feel like he always held a grudge against Stinger for not coming to WWE after the buyout..and then the geriatric NWO came down to help him even though his entire NWO run in WCW was against Hogan and not with him... should've been no interference and Sting prevailing...his feud with Rollins was great too...
