Man, John Cena's incredible run as US champion will always be legendary.

That match Cena and Cesaro had her in Chicago for the US Championship was and is by far one of my favorite matches of all time! Being there in person to witness that was truly something special and one for the books! Simply outstanding!

Cena's reign was a perfect use of Cena at the time. It kept him away from the main event, while letting him put on 15+ minute matches against younger talent, and would make whoever dethroned him look important. It's amazing just what having consistent defenses and tv time can do.

Gunther did what he said he was gonna do, "Restore prestige to the IC championship"

Good list. Couple things I liked about Cena's US Championship reign was how he wrestled Goldust, and the announcers pointed out how they never had a match against each other, despite their long tenures with the company. He also put KO on the map by losing to him.

Drew McIntyre elevated the WWE Championship during the pandemic era in my opinion. The dude was must watch and carried Raw during that time having banger after banger. Definitely the most important the WWE Championship has felt in years IMO. Its obviously important now in Roman's historic run but this run started with the Universal Championship and that still feels like what its actually all about

Gunther has reinvented the Intercontinental championship which is the second title in WWE behind the Wwe championship

How come Wes Lee didn’t make this list? He would’ve been a perfect honorable mention! He had perhaps the greatest NXT North American Championship reign possible, let alone the LONGEST reign in the prestigious history of a secondary title that’s been around for over five and a half years. He holds the record for the most successful title defenses, which that record was broken after retaining in a triple threat match against Tyler Bate and Joe Gacy at Battleground back in May. Aside from that, classic matches with Carmelo Hayes, Nathan Frazer, Axiom, and so forth. Especially back in April at Stand & Deliver where he retained in a classic fatal five way match against JD McDonagh, Axiom, Ilja Dragunov, and the then-debuting Dragon Lee.

The Miz with the IC title….with THAT DAMN PROMO….made you believe in him a lot more. Unfortunately it was a tough moment with Daniel Bryan, but that emotion was real.

Gunther's title reign simultaneously raises the IC title and is also a bit ridiculous. He is clearly an opponent who at this point is credibly in the World Title Picture as he is beating and wrestling opponents who are former champions or have high power levels (extremely high in Drew McIntyre's case) and Gunther himself towers over Seth and most of his opponents so far. Gunther is ready for the world title picture but how to take it off him safely?

Dolph Ziggler and The Miz’s feud for the IC title was incredible. They made that title feel like a world championship rather than a mid card title. And we know the miz is amazing and did wonders for that title, but lets also give Ziggler his flowers. He also put on amazing matches for the championship during his feud with miz and after it.

Crash Holly needs some credit for the hardcore title in the late 90s. It was one of the highlights of the show every week

AJ Lee should absolutely be on this list. She took a title that had become completely irrelevant, that wasn't even getting on PPVs, and actually made it a relevant championship. I think taking a title which wasn't even getting PPV matches period to getting it to even on the big shows like Summerslam & Wrestlemania deserves to be on this list. That's more than just slightly elevating a title, that's resurrecting the dead and making it greater than it ever was.

Cenas US-Spinning Belt was even cooler then the here listed number one.

It's really a shame that the current US champ, Logan Paul, has only had five matches since getting the US title (soon to be six), and only two of them were US title defenses. This is a man who has held this championship for over two-hundred days and only defending it twice in that entire tenure is definitely worthy of scrutiny and criticism.
