EC1 was apparently apprehended for having a hand in the murder of EC2. EC2 was planned to do some big things but there was not enough room in town for the both of 'em. EC2 was talented... he had the charisma, the physique, the mic work. Smooth but sharp at the same time. EC1 had the potential but could just never break the glass ceiling - it was there but he never brought it out of himself. EC2 is what EC1 could have been if he had been motivated and rather than stepping his game up, he preferred to ruin another man's life. EC3 is the embodiment of EC1 and EC2. The potential added with the total package, the rocket was waiting to be strapped to him but we all underestimated one thing. That melding Vince Mcmahon and his stupid stooges!

Tazz was never going to be a Main Eventer in WWF anyway, he was better as Commentator during those great years on SmackDown in WWE from 2002-Mid 2006. That was his best run in WWE, he did win the WWF Tag Team Titles albeit during a forgettable run in his Wrestling Career. He was a better fit in TNA/Impact from 2009-2015 and a much better fit for a National Non-PG Wrestling Promotion like AEW since 2019. They still have rules but at least Creative Freedom and Less Overproduction is in AEW compared to the Corporate Hell that is WWE especially in 2021.

That style of Wrestling was going to be bad for him in the long term, so moving to WWF was not a bad move long term it was just not the right fit for him as a Wrestler.

Damien Sandow’s gimmick was basically just a reprise of Triple H’s “Blue Blood” gimmick, or William Regal’s gimmick in WCW in the mid-90’s.

It was mostly just bad timing due to WWE unusually announcing months ahead that Ambrose was leaving once his contract expired (for reals, how often does WWE actually do that these days?). Once that bit of news came out, there was no-way Dean was going to be booed anymore (in spite of him being heel at the time) & unfortunately EC3 and his debut push was the collateral damage. Vince just really sucks at reading the room accurately (and then some).

The answer is in the leaks. He did not want Bret Hart to have creative control back in the 90s which was a reason for their conflict. Stars like Rock and Austin had more creative control at the height of their careers and although they helped WWE have growth, this 'era' had Vm with less control over the direction of the company and the state of the business. VM's fears found themselves not in Bret Hart but Rock/Austin. And like Paul Heyman said in WWE everything is either up or down ....it was time for the Rock/Austin era to sometime be down. There are things that are more important to Vince than money and those are not necessarily humble in nature. Talk about a man that wants creative control for himself and not others, when he himself lacks creativity now and in the past or as Punk said - that Vince is clueless now as he was in the past. Vince now knows less what makes a star than he did in the past. And some things just dont change like the business model of having big huge stars carry the company or hide in the shadows in fear and keep it safe by making money like he's doing now by plugging and unplugging talent.

Yet he buried/killed pushes of the likes of Bayley(at first), Asuka(kind of, but still isn’t his favourite more dependable just to “be in WWE” because of her hard work), Sasha Banks(She didn’t have a good sustained run on the main roster until the Pandemic Era started in 2020, she was a Double Champion at one point and had a better feud with Asuka in 2020 than she did against Overrated Charlotte in 2016 imo anyway). Others include Ricochet, Aleister Black, Keith Lee(or whatever his name is on the main roster now), Karrion Kross(dropped the ball on him big time) and probably the recent call ups from the last of Black & Gold NXT before NXT was rebranded to NXT 2.0 last month in July this year(Toni Storm, Shotzi Blackheart & Tegan Nox).
