From Day One up until right before Mania. That was a ROUGH stretch to get through with WWE.

Im surprised when they talked about the royal rumble they didn't bring up how the wrestlemania sign caught fire.

That GCW PPV should've been on the main list and really high too. That PPV feels like it actually killed whatever momentum they had, which I can't say about any other PPV this year.

The Royal Rumble was so bad this year, But let's hope that Royal Rumble 2023 delivers.

That's three positives I can think of in regards to one of the worst wrestling shows I've seen in a long while. Didn't want to be totally negative, but yeah. The 2022 Rumble show was really bad.

I was at All Out and it was long but my only complaint is what occurred after the show was over so it doesn’t down it for me

Those Wrestlemania Backlash shows should have just been called Wrestlemania Rewind. Mediocre to bad rematches or remixes of feuds with an extra person or random stipulation thrown in. Horrible. Good riddance to the VKM Era. All hail and long live the King of Kings.

What happened after All out shouldn't discount the great matches that took place. Acclaimed vs Swerve and Lee, CM punk vs Moxley is still great, the moment of MJF returning was amazing, plus the trios tournament finale. Should not deserve that much hate.

I feel like you can't vote for Forbidden Door as worst PPV based on what you didn't get because the show was great even without what some people wanted before the show.

Fun Fact: The 2nd time since 2018 where both rumble winners lose both title matches at mania

Selecting the worst PPVs being a difficult task is what my daddy would call a "happy problem". Happier still is that even without watching, I know that the worst PPV is a Vince McMahon one. With any luck, we won't have his crappy PPV booking ever again!

All Out was not a bad ppv. Very bloated, over shadowed by brawl out and after clash, but still has some great stuff. Ishii vs Kingston was great, the Elite vs Dark Order is insanely underrated and acclaimed vs swerve and keith was a brilliant crowd match. Otherwise there was MJFs return, despite a weird angle, it worked and he got a big pop, and punk winning big in Chicago is never not good. Overall, not and incredible ppv, but never bad.

WrestleTalks reaction to this year rumble was fun tho. The pop for Ivory & Mickie James were great! Also,the LIW impressions were funny as hell!

1st 2020-2022 i want to saw in NXT was badly written in my opinion and that is mainly due to Vince... 2nd AEW on the other hand i think will book Punk back into the company. I really think he will come back even though they don't really need him. It depends i think...

I was at Royal Rumble. It was my first and last WWE show. The knuckle-dragging, mouth breathing, bottom of the barrel crowd they attracted was alarming considering I went to two AEW shows in the last year and it brought a nearly completely different group of people. The presentation for the live crowd was non-existent as well. Literally zero effort.

The only reason NWA wasn't higher in the list will be the same reason they don't win any WON for worst *insert* award, is because no one watch NWA

You know with the exception of most of Wrestlemania and the Cody match at Hell in a Cell. Pretty much everything penned by Vince this year was a disaster. Day 1, Bad, Royal Rumble, Bad, Elimination Chamber, Bad, the parts of Mania where Vince was most clearly involved (namely the Theory/McAfee stuff), Bad, Backlash, Bad, Hell in a Cell bar the Cody/Seth match, Bad, Money in the Bank, Bad. Hell the PPV before Day 1 was probably the one of worst Survivor Series we'd ever had, before his fall Vince was on a terrible run, and it's only gotten better since he's left. 2022 is the year Vince finally fell, and hopeful he isn't coming back.

The only change I would have made to the 6 man tag team main event match at Backlash is that Roman's titles are on the line along with the Raw and Smackdown tag titles and at least that would have made the match more intriguing

Aew needs to cut matches from their ppvs and WWE needs to cut entire ppvs because in both cases there are just too many.

All members of the new day have been technically buried by big beefy overpushed men. Kofi and E lost their championships to Brock Lesnar, and Xavier even got his crown taken by Roman that one random ass week.

Calling All Out one of the worst ppv because of a BACKSTAGE FIGHT is like calling the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch one of the worst matches because of an angle AFTER the match.

Ok based on a lot of what’s said here and other lists, it seems like most women’s matches have more botched, are choppy over smooth, and have people scrambling to do things. Why do you think it is that there’s a less quality product when it comes to women’s matches compared to men’s? I’ve definitely noticed all these things before and am just curious as to why they are a bit sloppier and less refined.

I still don’t think the women’s rumble was bad. Just the winner wasn’t great.

That royal rumble was my first wwe ppv ever, it’s also my favorite ppv they do and it was in my home town St. Louis and it was so disappointing being there it sucked

I wanted to go to the Royal Rumble since I was in STL at the time. It seemed like an opportunity I wouldn't come across often with a big event in town, but I decided against going due to concerns about COVID with how the variant was going around. I watched it from home, and let me say, I'm glad I didn't go see it live. It was dreadful. I can always go to another possibly better Royal Rumble show.

Yeah this year Royal Rumble sucks. The only thing I like was the Reigns v. Rollins match (sucks that feud didn't continue, but hey we had Cody v. Seth feud and that was really enjoyable) and the Women's Rumble, which I wasn't upset with Ronda winning. But hope for the Rumble is better next year/month (which I hope The Rock wins and why you may ask well a recent news that WWE Title is gonna be strip from Roman and be crown in WrestleMania 39 with it be Seth vs. Drew or Cody and Roman defend the Universal Title against the Rock but if The Rock doesn't appear then Cody wins the Rumble and face Reigns. So yeah rather go with Seth vs. Cody for the WWE Championship and Roman Reigns vs. The Rock for the Universal Championship)

I stopped watching wwe around summer of 2021 and started somewhat watching again cuz I watched wrestlemania and it got my hopes up, and I was pretty disappointed overall until triple h took the helm, now I’m hooked again

Royal Rumble and All Out were the only 2 shows I hated this year. And both shows had a couple of good matches.

actully ienjoyed the rumble because my boyfriend and I watched it and it wasn't good but it start us watching ppv together for the rest of the year and he is excited for the royal rumble this year

The problems with d.o.n. & all out is they are ridiculously long ppv's with a lot of filler matches that would've been better on tv. These two ppv's are a perfect example of Tony focusing on quantity over quality. If I'm being honest I would much rather spend 50$ on a 6 to 7 match card perfectly paced 2 hour & 40 minute show than I would spend 50$ on a uneven 13 plus match card that is nearly 4 hours. I hope Tony fixes that problems in 2023. Imo I thought d.o.n was ok at best mainly because wardlow vs mjf was a squash, hardy vs bucks went too long & Jeff looked blown up from most of the match. Jade vs jay wasn't very good and felt like show filler. Same goes with both of the Owen cup finals & top team vs kaz Sammy & tay just filler. On top of Britt shouldn't have won. I don't remember much about the triple threat tag & the world title match because I wanted to go to bed by than because it was close to 12am when it ended on my side of the u.s. Also deeb vs Rosa sounded good on paper but because their was not heat in the match a lot of it was just ok. All out has a lot of problems d.o.n had that makes it a ok a best ppv which is disappointing by aew standards.

Survivor series wargames 100 percent the worst ever has been cursed

For me, All Out was the worst show. Coming after Clash and World’s Collide, two banger shows, and the Brawl Out controversy really hampered my enjoyment of it. Card was bloated too, which despite having 3 great matches (which were potential MOTY candidates imo) the rest of the card felt meh. Starks/Hobbs and Jungle Boy/Cage really disappointed me, and they were matches I was looking forward to. Overall the most meh show I watched, especially from AEW

Vince McMahon...his genius for not so dramatic and obvious cash ins. Also, he is a horrible repeat offender for repeating matches and beating them to death. 🤦🏽‍♂️😂

Royal Rumble 2022 was the worst PPV I have ever seen

Rumble was probably the worst, but I had a blast watching it was a day before my birthday... I watched with my brothers, and good friends Honestly extreme rules was probably my least favorite on terms of pay per view was kind of a meh boring show.. really wasn't a fan of balor vs edge which was my most anticipated match on that card... mostly just like imperium vs the brutes and wyatt

Watched All Out live in person, it was stellar. Everyone went wild for Acclaimed vs Swerve in our Glory, The only time the crowd was louder was when Cult of Personality hit the speakers. One of the best live wrestling experiences I've ever had. Length of PPV made me feel like I got my money's worth for tickets and the 2 hour drive to the arena.

Have you seen Hs recent booking? I am looking forward to NOTHING from H in 2023 I'm seriously thinking of stopping watching after Roman drops the belts!

As usual so many excuses for AEW putting up sub par shows. Might be time to start criticising them like we criticise WWE. The shine of them being the new, upcoming wrestling promotion has worn off and its starting to feel like just people making excuses for those billion dollar corporations.

Wrestlemania Backlash wasn't even a bad show. Three good matches on a 5 match card. Some of you guys got to go back and watch it.

All out was the only wrestling ppv I’ve ever fell asleep multiple times watching . I fell asleep 3-5 times and it was just such a long drawn out boring show. You should never feel exhausted after watching a wrestling show and that show left me with no energy man .

In my opinion Backlash was way more consistent than wrestlemania, the Highs from wrestlemania were much higher but the lows were much lower. Backlash had a much more consistent quality

That's the problem with business' in general they're political. Companies should remain A political.

I love you guys and I'm trying to explain my reasoning, why forbidden door wasn't that good in my opinion. First of all, I have not seeing japanese wrestling at all previous to forbidden door. I knew the names like Okada and Tanahashi through wrestletalk. But otherwise I was pretty much clueless to these wrestlers. AEW and NJPW did obviously a fan service PPV to fans of NJPW. But if you came to see this show like me, interested to see new wrestlers, oh boy were you disappointed. I had high expectations, but when the bell rang, it was... meh. Claudio vs ZSJ was good. FTR vs Aussie open was good, because you have best tag team in the world in that match. Suzuki, Jericho and Guevara vs. Kingston, Umino and Yuta must not have been a great match, because I have no memories of it. PAC winning all atlantic title was meh. Dudes with attitudes vs Bullet club was another young bucks match. Not a fan. Rosa vs Storm was there. Will Ospreay vs. Orange Cassidy. It was okay match. Even though I hate Cassidys gimmick so that might cloud my judgment a little bit. The biggest disappointment of the night was the 4-way. You have Okada there, who is suppesed to be top 3 japanese wrestlers of today. And you have Jay White, who is the champion. And it was the same 4 way match you see every time. Lazy, unimagined pathetic excuse for a match. And Moxley match was every moxley match ever. You don't have to agree, you don't have to like my opinions. But this is my reasoning and I didn't liked it.
