Already said it in Adam’s video on PFK, but Sammy/Tay/Kaz vs ATT from Double or Nothing was my favourite bad match this year. Sammy and Tay being at the peak of fan hatred created a 5 heels and 1 baby face scenario that made it an ironic masterpiece imo. Loved the pop Kaz got for ditching Sammy as well!

Bit weird that Marina vs Jade made the top 10 but Athena vs Jade didn't. The Marina match might have been bad but it was on TV at least and I can forgive that. Making me put down money and giving me a 4 minute match between Jade and Athena that could have actually been really good I thought for sure would mean it would get into the top 10.

I've not reached the end yet, but I can't see how any match can be worse than Ric Flair's LAST match. We all thought he had DIED mid match because he just laid there not moving for like like 5 minutes.

The 2022 Men's Royal Rumble match hurt my soul. Not only was the winner predictable, but it was just boring to watch through and left little to be desired. The royal rumble match is always the match I look forward to every year in wrestling, so having to watch this train wreck of a match after watching all the old rumbles was just pathetic and disappointing.

Bianca vs Bayley at crown jewel not making this list is crazy.

Oh that jade vs marina match was awful. They didn't do anything to stand out during that 3 minute match that was the only women's thing on a entire 2 hour show. During those 3 minutes Vicki was yelling into a Mic and nyla was just talking a bunch on nonsense🤦. Jade vs rose might have been one of the dumbest builds to a match all year. Honestly a lot of jade Cargill matches should be on here because they are quite awful that you remember them. Some on the top of my head were jade vs AQA nearly every spot was botched & missed time to the point the Mic was picking spot calling from both. Ruby vs jade tbs title finals even a vet like ruby couldn't carry her to a good match & I kinda laughed at the finish because jade wants to go for a top rope jaded but before she can ruby taps her knee and says the second rope is good enough🤦😂. And Athena vs jade had no business being in a already long ppv being this short & mediocre. That might have been Athena's worst match and once again another really good worker couldn't save the match. Another terrible match this year was some how ishii vs evil wrestle kingdom 16. On paper it sounds like a good match because both are good workers that previous had good singles & tag matches together. But you turn evil heel who I don't like as a heel and put him with the house of torture who does a lot of overbooked Vince mcmahon non sense made the match really awful.

As someone who did watch the Vince v Pat match alone, it was just awful to watch. Took forever and poor Pat had to just feign injury for an uncomfortably long time.

The men's rumble felt like the rumbles you play in a 2k game and you got to pick your entry number.

Rousey started to wrestle like Lesnar, not doing much, trying to coax off her name, except she doesn't have the aura that Brock does. Brock looks like a megastar monster and can get away with a lazy match because of his presence. Ronda can't.

One thing that just irks me about the Ronda liv feud is they did the same thing with shanya and liv and work so much better. They did the build up to clash with shayna acting so much better than liv, then we get to clash at the castle and liv proves she is better by out wrestling baszler. Hell the hot crowd started very cold for the match that no one was looking forward to, then as the match went out they got super invested and exploded with liv retained. I thought theirs was the best women’s match on the card over the 6 women tag

Ronda and Shayna should definitely become a tag team. You could hide Ronda behind Shayna and other experienced upper-midcarders, others could do promos instead of her until she's ready. Also, if Bayley would win the main title, they could've started potential Ronda v Bayley feud via Damage CTRL.

Im kinda glad that my initial appraisal of Rousey is panning out to be true. Always hated her look, her 'character' what little there is, and her goldbergesque entitlement. Her matches have always been sloppy and low effort and the only 2 good ones were where Sasha played Hart to her chemically blinded Smith and the Flair match where she got beaten to hell - but that wasnt actually good just cathartic.

My worst match of the year was Joey Janela vs. Matt Cardona from GCW's WRLD On GCW. A match that insulted my intelligence & I'm not a very smart person & completely turned me off to GCW. That entire PPV was a flaming bag of pooh.

I went to AEW Dynamite on 11/02 at Baltimore. That Jade Cargil vs Marina Shafir match was not good at all. I was glad when it was over.

I wouldn't have had Bianca win it two years in a row. That's one of those special milestones that shouldn't come within the first 5 years of the gimmick...granted, the Men's Royal Rumble started in 1988 and Hogan won it in both 1990 and 1991, then HBK won it in both '95 and '96, then Austin won it in both '97 and '98. But I think that's one of those storyline beats that should come later. Perhaps have a Heel win the Rumble, do a Double Turn at Mania with the Winner of the Rumble losing the match, have her spend the next year trying to bounce back, then have the Rumble be her "shot at redemption", have her win it the second year in a row and then win her match at Mania, taking the belt off the same person she couldn't beat the year prior. Sounds like a good outline of a story that would probably be ruined in the execution.

I don’t think Vince will return personally. SRS was asked if he could see Vince return & he gave several reasons why it likely won’t happen & I do think those factors will prevent his return to power. 1 The Alligators still against him. Someone in the company is leaking this to the Wall Street journal. 2 Those on the board can block him from voting. Reportedly the board were looking to remove him from his role that’s why he retired. 3 No one wants him back not just fans but talent higher ups & shareholders. 4 Even with majority voting power if he did try to get in it could lead to lawsuits from shareholders that would severely damage WWE image & cost then millions. 5 Networks & sponsors reportedly don’t want him back & WWE would lose millions to billions if he tried to return as they would pull out. Honestly Luke I don’t think Vince will return for those reasons it would damage the brand if he did. He may want to come back but I don’t see him coming back in a power role maybe a cameo down the line or a hall of fame induction. That’s about it

The men's Rumble deserved to win, and I'm going to predict that the Royal Rumble wins worst PPV/PLE. When the rumors about Brock and Ronda winning started I figured there was no way Vince could resist having the two most famous MMA fighters win. It was actually a smart call, I applaud him for making it, but unfortunately that killed my interest in the event entirely and I didn't watch. I did giggle at being proven right.

Cargil vs Shafir was so bad because a really problematic KZfaqr got called out by everyone in AEW for talking down to the women in the company, and instead of wrestling a good match to prove him wrong, Nyla Rose came out and did her own live commentary on the match and talked about eating chips.

Yeah, Vince vs Pat was a bad match but the fact is it was an impromptu match per se, as we thought despite those reports there was no way it was going to happen but it did. Itt only lasted a couple of minutes thus didn't bother me that much. The Men's Rumble on the other hand was quite bad and just absolutely forgettable. It didn't help matters that Lesnar was the champion earlier that night and lost only for him to do the Reigns 2017/Becky 2019 (she replaced Lana but same thing nonetheless) spot and enter despite being in a title match earlier. I watched the match knowing he won it already and it was an hour of my time I won't get back.

Hard to believe the Tyrus title win did not make it to top ten as that was garbage. Tyrus as champ is garbage his matches are barely good enough for midcard as is. Then you have allegations against him and how bad of a person he is. Corgan lost his mind there to think this was a good idea and was where the company needed to go. Tyrus is trash and at best should be a mid to low tier mid carder but he should never hold the big one. For gods sakes in WWE his act was more memorable for the Funkadactyls than anything he did. He should go back to being a bodyguard.
