It might be where you are at and what type of grass you are cutting. I hear this sometimes from people in the North. I am in East Tennessee and own three Wrights and I literally start cutting before it gets daylight each day without sacrificing cut quality.

Same with me. Mine tend to leave stragglers and don't stripe as good as an exmark or hustler. From Jersey.

have you experimented with different types of blades. Something will suit your needs better just have to Tweek the blades.

Never heard of overkill in power here in central pa. In the spring most customers only want one cut weekly even with 6” of growth. I’ll take the extra power every time.

@CHARLES HANSEN I believe both mowers are built heavy duty and for commercial use. There is no questioning that. It comes down to what can it mow and does it tear up turf and lastly production. It has been proven time and time again by commercial guys using lap bar zero turn mowers that most are required to do a 3 point turn to turn around and go back the opiate direction. Stop and think about that statement for a second. You bought a $13,000 zero turn and can’t do a zero turn without ripping the customers lawn to pieces. That would be exactly like buying a 4wD truck and only using it in 2WD it’s entire life. Don’t settle. I know own 4 Cub cadet commercial units and my 11k Exmark and Scag mowers are backup. We loved those mowers and now I can get my guys to use them. Eliminating 3 point turns is a game changer and increases productivity 10% on flat land and up to 30% on slopes or retention ponds. Plus there is no learning curve. I could put your wife on the CC and she could mow quicker than you all day. If you have not demoed a unit yet, I would highly encourage anyone to do so. I wish you all the best and one day made you can be mowing with one hand, and your head is not tilted to the side as you try to keep your lap bar going in a strait line. I will end with this. As for a lap bar zero turn mower, this unit looks awesome and has some nice upgrades for the owner/operator. Take care
