Write On Text Effect in Adobe Premiere Pro - Premiere pro handwriting Tutorial
In this Adobe Premiere pro handwriting tutorial, i will show you how to create the Write On text Effect and then use this effect to place and animate lines in premiere. The hand writing Text Effect is a simple, subtle way to inject a bit of flair into your personal video projects.
adding animated handwriting text over your video can really make it feel personal.
While it's possible to create an animated handwriting effect with plugins through downloadable templates, or online "whiteboard video" builders, these methods can be either limiting or overly complicated for a simple writing effect.
Fortunately, it's quite easy to create this kind of effect inside of Premiere Pro cc without any additional plugins or templates. That's a big plus for those familiar with Premiere pro looking to achieve this effect.
Note: Applying this effect to your text won't magically animate the text. There's a bit of legwork (and patience) needed in creating a handwriting animation. but the good news is that at the end the result would have been worth it

It's actually a heavy effect, you just need to render it.

Just stretch the graphics length to Increase the duration of the graphics on the timeline

Actually I rendered it while editing it, my laptop is 28 gig ram, 1tb hdd and 512ssd hard drive, 2 gig dedicated graphics

Hj @MakiahCaldwell i just connected the last point of one word to any starting point i choose from the next word. So far all the words are on the same graphics

Hello! I did everything you said to do, but as the title reaches the end, it starts to remove the text from begining to end. As if to "unwrite" the title or reverse it. What did I do wrong?

Hello, I had this issue too - if you increase the "Stroke Length (secs)" it should fix it. When it gets to the end of this time it "unwrites", so just make sure the duration of the stroke length is long enough for your clip.

You might be dragging the wrong dot, zoom in the window to really see

I used a png file of a signature and it did not work, does this only work if you use the fonts in Premiere?

It should work regardless, try to add an adjustment layer beneath the png file and nest them both. And try again... I haven't tried it on a PNG file but it should work
