Hello Catalin! If you highlight all your layers on the timeline and right click and nest them - you should then be able to right click the nested layer and slow the duration under "speed/duration" :)

Because the words will change - so will the write on pattern overlay you draw so its not transferable to a preset unfortunately :(

I am making a sentence, all the same. written in premiere, all doing the same effect but as soon as I put the track it only works for 1 word in the sentence works. I have multiple graphics with each containing 1 word, then all of them have their respected transparent layer. do you know why it will not write? it disappears then reveals after the effect is done.

for each word or graphic you need to nest the transparent video alongside the graphic then add additional transparent videos for each word or graphic you want to use the effect on - hope this helps and let me know!

I have a png file of my signature and did this but it didn't work , does this only work with fonts within premier ?

Hello Edy! Yes unfortunately for this effect to work it had to be generated in premiere pro - no image files

@@edyperez1614 the closest way that I know of would be to add a crop effect with keyframes and feather it - I don’t believe it’s possible to create a write in effect like this and apply it to an image

Followed each step but When I put track matte key and choose the appropriate matte I don’t see anything at all.

Hmm, Im not sure why it wouldn't be working - have you tried closing premiere and re-opening - sometimes it glitches out and behaves unexpectedly

Hello Sir! it could be a glitch within Premiere Pro - try restarting premiere and doing it again - the other alternative is you might have missed a step outlined in the video D: - check to make sure you followed each step - including the part where you have to click on the words write on in effect controls a second time - let me know!

Try it again but make the text inside premiere pro - I think it’s interacting with your png

It might just be a glitch - this effect has become more glitchy with newer versions of premiere

Yeah this effect can be done much easier in other programs but this is the easiest way in Premiere pro :(
