have L.M.U. Could not even do a lap either. now have a new L/ T Acer 17 amd - just reloaded that game and EA WRC will see how it goes. My desk tops windows failed.

Nice session 👍 Out of curiosity, question for Eike: In minute 40, Cody talked about BTCC 98 in AC, and you said "Wrong SIM"... Which is the right one? Regarding front wheel drive, RF2 BTCC is great IMO. For Cody, maybe you should do a fresh install for LMU... Too many problems it seems. Regarding your question: 1 - Nords for ACC 2 - LMU season 2024 3 - AC2 One note, your volumes were a bit low...

Yup, RF2 is the only sim that imo can handle FWD race cars. With the Super Tourers being hilariously overpowered aerodynamic monsters and still front wheel drive, I don't think that anything can match that sim, I think the ASRC Clio Cup we had recently showed that really well. AC, even with the advanced physics, can't hold a candle to what RF2 is able to do out of the box. Also noted with the volumes, there's was a lot of "dynamic range" (Me being loud) this issue, so that probably threw a lot of it to the dogs. - ES

That was, unfortunately, a fresh install lol. I've got plans to do a reinstall of LMU and re-test with the latest fixes soon, though I'm not sure if it'll be a video.

Lmu has run on my i5 3060ti with 16 g of ram since day 1. Game crashes but i assume thats network/their side I get 60 frames on modest settings, runs a bit hotter then rf2. Iv got little skill or patience with fiddling with files and not had to do anything. I dont know why your systems aren't working, maybe its more the software you have running. Seems like theres alot of hate for lmu here.....doesnt seem balanced. Maybe just stay with ams2

Why is criticism always considered "hate"? If a system doesn't run smoothly, ANY system, we're going to criticize it. If you consider that hate, you are among the lucky ones who never had to encounter real hate. And I hope you never will.

You really worried me about iRacing. Is totally acceptable to pay to play if you want and can afford it, really offer good things, but for me is a rip off. If they get all the licenses... About AC2 I have no doubt that will be an amazing game. Seeing what studio 397 did with LMU, a simple copy/paste of RF2 with better graphics and is amazing (sorry, I am of the lucky ones for who the game works) it will be difficult for AC2 to screw up doing something as simple. The mods in my opinion need to wait, Kunos need to sell a game and some DLC's, otherwise how is supposed can make their profit. And coming back to iRacing, better for kunos to make money, or won't be able to compete against iRacing, that don't forget has been making tons of money with alnost no updates/investment in the game during 11 years till now with rain patch (add paid cars and circuits to the roster is somethibg modders do in AC for free and even with more variety)

Glad that LMU works for you. The concept that Eike is thinking about is for Kunos to - at the end of the day - produce the "Sim Engine" around which everyone else can produce mods. They don't need to spend money on licenses, just make it extremely moddable in any aspect. People would still buy the game engine of course, but Kunos could concentrate on building the best foundation for a racing sim. Which is an interesting concept that we don't expect Kunos to use. But maybe other companies like The Last Garage will...
