The chokehold this movie had on me as a kid, omg! My brothers and I used to recreate the radio tower scene by jumping off our bunk beds onto a pile of pillows 😭 As for the sequels, the only one worth watching is Wrong Turn 2. It’s a lot of fun and stars Erica Leerhsen, from TCM (2003) and Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows!

Late '90's/early '00's was such a great time for horror/slashers/thrillers! Wrong Turn, Rose Red (okay, a mini series, but still), Cube, Sphere, Ghost Ship, Gothika, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hostel, Saw - just a few that come to mind (and of course there are so many more)!

OH YESSSS FINALLY!!!! Wrong Turn is legit one of my fave horror movies. I think Chris is one of the smartest survivors. (Minus the car crash that got him into the situation!! haha) I'm sooo happy you picked this movie to watch. the other movies go down hill fast, but the first is so great!!!

Of the sequels, the only ones worth checking out are WRONG TURN 2: DEAD END (2007), and the Reboot titled: WRONG TURN: THE FOUNDATION (2021), which are very cool, different and brutal.

This is my first time watching your channel so not sure if you or anyone else has ever mentioned it, but your oval view of the film in certain shots of the protagonists trying to hide or escape gives a feeling that they are being watched by the antagonists as well as the audience so I can see this being a great way to view horror films in general it also gives the scenes a more claustrophobic look in closeups. No matter if it was a pre-planned thought or not it works great!

If you watch any more WT, you need to at least see Wrong Turn 2. Best of the series. The rest kinda go down from there, but WT2 is like "this is a bad movie, let's go nuts." It's a gory, campy, fun ride.

Wrong Turn 2: Dead End is easily considered the best of the franchise. All the other sequels are considered skippable (except the 2020 reboot)

The killer with the wicked laugh is Three Fingers. In the first movie he is played by a really talented actor by the name of Julian Richings, and his most recognizable role is probably as Death on Supernatural. He is an actor who really deserves to be a bigger star. One of the big names of critically acclaimed/award winning actors.

Love this movie. At the end, the guy outside the store hid because he recognized the mountain men’s truck and thought it was them coming. I’m not a big fan of the sequels in this franchise but will definitely check out your reactions if you decide to watch them. 😁

This cast is pretty stacked btw. They all go on to be in numerous things Eliza of course, from Buffy, Dollhouse, Tru Calling and Bring it on Desmond Harrington (Chris)Dexter and Ghost Ship Kevin Zegers (redheads bf) was in Dawn of the Dead 2004 and a horror movie called Frozen * I recommend it Jeremy Sisto (fiance guy Scott) is from Clueless, Thirteen and May *another horror recommendation Lindy Booth (the redhead) was also in Dawn of the Dead and Cry Wolf
