See how to remove the rear dash or rear shelf on a 2015+ WRX. I go over the removal and show you areas that can cause rattles. I also go over the things I did and materials I used to rattleproof and soundproof this area back there. This video was filmed a long time ago and I had the camera set to the wrong resolution the entire time (which is the reason for the poor video quality), but I’ve been asked so many times for this that I decided to put it together after all. I hope this proves useful for some.

Singer Roadkill Carpet Pad → amzn.to/2NXEyfD This is what you see me using under the dash near the end. I installed this under the WRX’s carpet and it provided awesome noise reduction and I had some left over and put it to good use under the dash.
Sound Deadening Mats I recommend → amzn.to/2ZTwJyR These load the thin metal on the car chassis with enough weight to stop unnecessary rattling at certain frequencies. Sound deadening your car is one of the easiest ways of making your interior feel luxurious.
