It is mostly because Djokovic starting with "Dj" and not with "D" there is difference in Serbian alphabet with that two letters ( Đ - thats how it looks in Serbia alphabet) And can be writter "Dj" so there is difference with Dokovic and Djokovic so players forget that

I’ve always wondered that, I like her but for somebody who’s 30 years old, with a career high ranking is 32 and has never won a career title she gets promoted a lot more than other players. I think it’s probably because there was a lot of expectation from her when she left Juniors. She was definitely one of those players that was “touted for greatness” so to speak, so I guess her reputation sorta carried over.
