i bought the 7" couple weeks ago slowly getting used to it but far better than a baby brush, should have gone for 5.5, the hooks great but should have been longer on the 7 as it doesn't always want to stay on the bucket rim and have to be careful not to gouge the wall when it sticks out as you have to keep it straighter.

I bought one of these last week, and chucked the metal clip away! I didn’t have a clue it was a bucket clip 😂

iv been using the £12 refina 4" as opposed to the yellow ones for a few month once broke in the do hold more water but wouldnt say they last any longer if you using to wipe down a broken in flexi whilst splashin/ brushing your gunna loose bristles quickly

I've got a Refina brush, had it a few months. No idea which one it is, they have stainless banding to hold the bristles and then steel fasteners/ nails holding it together so it still rusts. ??? Kinda pointless in my opinion. 30 odd quid for a splash brush is too much. Gone for an old vintage paste brush now. Copper throughout, proper job. Will last years.

Bought one of the gold brushes on the back of this video, hope its going to break in and perform better than it is at the moment, dont rate it at all and its definitely not holding more water than the yellow ones do. On the other hand tho the light you reviewed recently is a game changer.

Thats so odd. I’m using the 5.5” at the moment. Far better than the yellow. Try reaching out to Refina. They might switch it out, could be a mix up with the handles. Very odd that there isn’t a noticeable difference

@AlexMorleyPlastering ill reach out and see what they say thanks. Have you tried like for like size, as that's the only difference I can see why you might be having better results than me, with the extra 1½inch it will hold more water

Surely pure bristle brushes have less tolerance to water than synthetic brushes which means they'll swell up quicker?

No they don’t split and Matt up like synthetic do.

Was watching a car detailer videi the other day and as he was saying regarding the sprayers - just buy the cheapo ones and all of them are crap at lasting!

Get a 7l hozelock plus sprayer , they last years m8 , mines at 7 years now will even spray pva and the shoulder straps handy
