2:30 This is one of my biggest reasons as to why this is my all time favourite band. You really never know what will happen in each song and i still find myself picking up on the tiniest things. I wish i was old enough back in mid 2000’s to see this band live. I went in August in Edmonton and they sounded exactly like how they sound on their albums. My favourite songs off this album are Remenissions (2nd all time), Second Heartbeat (especially LBC), and Unholy Confessions, My favourite album ever along with City of Evil. You should do a cover on every song from this album.

i actually almost cried when i first heard I Won't See You Tonight bc it metaphores the before and after effects of suicide. Dark times are not fun, and sometimes music can bring you out of it just to tell you that you are not alone in suffering. So far it's in my top 5 fav songs by A7X. #FoREVer

This album is one of those ones, that blows you away, but leaves you knowing the best is still to come. You can tell the pantera influence. The most telling part is IWSYT 1&2. In concept it’s very similar to panteras sewerslide note 1&2, the soft ballady part and the second to go all in.

From Waking the Fallen to Eternal Rest is actually one of my favorite sequences of tracks in an album, it's just untouchable, IWSYT Pt 1 is easily one of the most underrated A7X songs

@@mobafan3713 true. I’ve now actually listened to the debut, and it’s surprising good. HTTK is good, but it’d be better if you cut sole of the dead weight tracks like planets, doing time, and crimson day.

not only did this album (especially Unholy Confessions alone) pave the way for A7X, but honestly Metalcore as a whole, it's insane how their second album is still one of their best, imho also Desecrate is my favorite from the album, one of their heaviest and also some of their best melodies ever, and that odd time dun-dun-dun riff after the intro is such a great F'ing riff, and IWSYTpt1 is ABSOLUTELY in my top 10 favorites, Clairvoyant Disease is underrated asf too, it seems most of their long ass songs are their best some of the best songwriters ever in Metal/Rock

I would have to agree on those points you mentioned. Listening to Waking The Fallen again, it blows my mind on how much of a masterpiece it is. They wrote that album at such an early age. Goes to show the level of musicianship and creativity they have.

My rankings on all songs from the album: 12: Waking the fallen (it's an intro, so I can't put it very high, but it's SO GOOD!) 11: Unholy confessions: I've listened to that song one kajilion times by now, so I kinda enjoyed the others more now 10: Eternal rest: nothing wrong with the song, I just have to rank all songs 9: Desecrate Through Reverence: one of the coolest outos ever 8: I won't see you tonight pt2: I like the rest better. It's really hard to rabk all songs from the album, they're all too good 7: Radiant eclipse: intro kinda reminds me of SOAD, one of the best choruses ever ngl. 6: Remenissions: AMAZING! 5: Second heartbeat: probably top 3 favourite choruses of all time! 4: I won't see you tonight pt1: GOOSEBUMPS! 3: Chapter four: Nostalgic, well made, catchy, perfect! 2: And all things will end: proof that every outro song by them is amazing! I listen to it on repeat all the time! 1: Clairvoyant disease: Unpopular opinion, but that song is just something else! My second favourite song by them! This album is so nostalgic to me. It's the album that got me into metalcore. It's definitely in my top 10 if not top 5 favourite albums

I got into the band in high school when the stage was released and heard the song itself and thought as a musician thought it was the craziest thing I’ve heard. It was so advanced in the terms of its songwriting and when I was a kid I listened to a lot of the same stuff such as bands like pantera, Metallica Exclusively. I was on Spotify once I heard it and scrolled through there albums and in the top 10 songs was a song called unholy confessions and I thought that was an insane name for a title of a song. It blew my mind. The opening riff. Then syn coming in with the harmony and then the screams. I didn’t hear screaming like that and it opened the door for metalcore for me and introduced me to it. Chapter four is my all time favorite song and eventually I would get a deathbat tattoo and see them at the end of the stage world tour. I would also set clairvoyant disease as one of my favorites. Syns solo isn’t to crazy but it’s catchy asf. Nothing of there’s still resonates with me as much as the first two records. The dressed in all black, syn was using a les Paul custom and he and Zacky going straight into the rectifiers. Sorry for the long response but I’m glad other people enjoy this record as much as me still. A lot of huge bands that go mainstream it definitely seems there early material gets lost underneath the bigger records

Heyyy the best part of Desecrate Through Reverence is the ending parts “Far awayyy…” that is the most intense aggressive angerly vocal of Matt i have ever heard, also it is a very hard to sing. Bro, you should listen and try to do it the ending parts of Desecrate Through Reverence.

Self Titled Album (Actually I like several songs from this album except Unbound, Lost and Brompton Cocktail, what I don't like is that the songs from this album are too popular and so overplayed on fucking TikTok and everyone on TikTok is doing trends which I think are fucking disgusting) 9. Life is But a Dream (Sorry, after trying to listen to the songs on this album many times they are still strange to my ears but songs like nobody, mattel, we love you and cosmic are very good)
