I grew up in DC doing the 70's listening to whur, wook and woL it brings back memories of The beat times in DC musically, educationally and economically l'm so proud of DC.

I remember "Harambee" on WTOP-TV in the 1970s. Nice story about black radio. Harambee is Swahili for "let's all pull together".
