It was really 2 films in one. Not a complaint. I would have been ok with the Muay Thai part of it. And I'm gonna add Leopard to my list with Tong Po and Sagat. Considering the time period this film was made he was amazing.

Description points out the main cast & theme of the part of the film. 2 MOVIES IN 1 ! The description explains the 2nd movie more so. 1st "movie" takes place with almost all different people than the 2nd. "In Mae" is daughter of Mr Fung (C Kwan Tai). She is engaged to "Lu Pan Fi" but has a love for "Di Lang Chee" (Lee Chung Yat). "Lu Chen Sen" is (Chen Sing). (Ti Lung) referees Di and Lu's fight. After Di leaves for Thialand THEN COMES almost a totally different movie with (Lu Feng) entering as Lu's son. "Di Ching" is the man looking for his father, yes "Di Lang Chee". He finds a friend "Selleck" and they get involved in the Death Ring championship. Also many new faces not part of 1st of movie. The fighting in both parts is vicious and plentiful !

I wanted to see how Ti Lung was used... the beginning was very well-thought out and it was a good story spanning timelines, culture and blood feuds... I d say that Tai Chi is alot more effective than Muay Thai but even talk this way is like comparing Pang Tong to the Bronze Bird Pavilion in the 3 Kingdoms story... I wanted to learn a bit and then occasionally there's a strong dose of here-and-now reality that's unexpected, like-1:05:55...! ( ya that's pretty realistic, think about the implications here ) Finally, Thank You once again Wu Tang for sharing this one.

Great quality production from Chang Cheh Also great work from the Omni group dubbing team I believe Chang managed to maintain good quality and look of the Shaw studio productions even after his move back to Taiwan And this Widescreen print does the movie justice. Quality that tends to get lost in the VHS Pan and scan versions. Would love to see a Wide print of Ninja deadly trap Too
