Hwang Jang Lee plays the Silver Fox in this brilliant production from Korea. Li-Siu, a young Shaolin Monk finds the opportunity to practice his kung fu teachings. During his practice he stumbles onto the murder of the Abbot at the Shaolin Temple and the kidnapping of the elder monk Do-Lim. A string of pearls found in the hands of the murdered Abbot is the only clue that leads Li-Siu to the Silver-Fox, the murderer and sinister mastermind of a deadly plot to invade China. Li-Siu confronts the evil Silver-Fox and his henchmen and challenges them to the deadliest battle in the history of Martial Arts!

Raging masters tiger crane is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME and STUNNINGLY AMAZING Hwang Jang Lee is legendary superkicker of all time The STUNNING kung fu fight scenes are 2Fast 2Furious and entertaining

One of the few movies where they attack from both the front and the back, vs always both from the front. If there's more than two people, always have one attack from the back.

I watch more kung fu movies, i notice from the start the main character is always worst he dont know how to fight but at the end he is good figther, Why always like that?

Hwang Lee is a legend. But I was getting tired of the hero getting his butt beat throughout the whole movie till the end. And when he fought the final boss he got his butt beat until the master sacrificed himself. Had it been more consistent I would have enjoyed it more.

Yeah, Elton's chaotic style is not easily choreographed, he fights with ferocity and little structure but you have to recognized he has acrobatics, speed and is very tough. This guy takes pain like it's nothing constantly. Even though this is a movie, had to be more than painful. The end fight is completely lacking combos. It's a series of one shot attacks. Sometimes the chemistry between two fighters and a director isn't there. Also Elton beeing rather tall and HJL rather short it was probably hard for them to do close combat scene. On the plus side this movie has several women that i find extremely hot in character and facial look.

La pelicula fue mala. Lo mejor fueron los minutos finales. Otra cosa, el protagonista fue un payaso durante casi todo el tiempo y excepto los minutos finales fue que aprendió a pelear. Para mi lo mejor fue el jefe de los malvados quien siempre mostró superioridad en los combates. Hasta a el protagonista le dio una lección y su kung fu lució muy superior asi haya muerto al final. Hwang Jang Lee fue simplemente el mejor de la pelicula.

Description tells the story of the movie. In simpler terms, it will read out this way. Thomas Tang style movie. (Benny's) brother is kidnapped. (Benny) works in restaurant and is beat up. (Hwang) fights an avenging monk. Old Man helps (Benny) in the next restaurant fight. (Hwang) interrogates (Benny). "Lee An De" is Steven's (Benny) brother. Old Man rescues Steven. Old Man trains Steven. He fights (Hwang's) men at restaurant. Steven fights stages of fighters at (Hwang's) school to find his kidnapped girlfriend Betty. NOTE: This is just how the movie was produced. Lack of names or late in the game for the names and some with out names. Not the best Thomas Tang story line out there unfortunately. Commenters for Hwang Jang Lee pleased with his performance but wanted more of it.

I'm so confused, can someone explain this movie to me? Why was the painter kidnapped? What does it have to do with the safety of the country? Why did the villains need the necklace? What happened to Betty in the end? How was the old teacher related to that temple guy who got killed?

You can read my comment and it may make sense to you. Not the best Thomas Tang movie for certain. I also found the same inconsistencies that you did as some of the other commenters did as well. Greetings Snapper !
