Director Sacha Jenkins and RZA breakdown the beginning of the Wu-Tang Clan in the Showtime documentary, ' Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men.'
This in-depth look at the creation of the rap supergroup revealed several new stories about the musical mainstay. RZA himself was particularly moved by the stories from Wu-Tang member Ghostface Killah, and how he grappled with depression at an early age.

Very powerful. RZA is so profoundly thoughtful. Although I don’t make rap music, he’s had a massive influence on me, even just his interviews.

RZA came in to my work the other day and I was instantly filled with stoke and positive energy. It truly felt surreal being in the presence of one of your childhood heroes. He is a transcendent being who altered the mentality of millions through music and insight. Very similar to Bruce Lee but in different mediums. Peace to the god...we're truly blessed to have been impacted by this man's peak accomplishments.

The slang was so heavy in their lyrics, some of that shit I'm still decoding to this day. A lot of shit went over my head back then as a teenager in Memphis TN. That kind of makes it timeless for me, just like a movie you can rewatch and catch something you missed every time.

Interesting. Question then, was anybody a bit taken aback by various mbrs rolling up on-camera? It didn't bother me necessarily, and maybe it was just natural (RZA just said 📽 = 👮), but I thought maybe that would've been excluded 7-10 yrs ago. Maybe.

We grew up not talking. Every camera is like a cop to us. Amin Brother Rakeem. I'm still the same way. One of my brothers asked me about that yesterday. Why do you only upload audio recordings and never video? I gave the same answer that the RZA gave. I don't like cameras. Cameras are a narcotic. Look at social media. Everyone is shooting dope, on camera, ever day and every alphabet soup agency in America knows it. Keep the code. More often than not, it won't fail you. Peace

If ghostface raised 2 siblings, then I wouldn't label him as having a weak heart. Being weak is a term similar to lacking strength to performing demanding and physical activity. If ghost was able to raise siblings then he would be more of a strong heart. Theres alot of people whom experience people crack and crumble eventually leading to a negative spectrum. He was depressed but being depressed is more of a state of mind which are considered as feelings. Ghostface is a hero, a role model and a savior with a strong heart. So Rza might want to reconsider or let's just say rephrase his words.
