How do you feel about Wulbren?

Act 3 has so many great moments but I don't blame you for being overwhelmed. This is the only part of the game where I felt I had to rely more on the quest journal instead of just naturally exploring things. At this point missing stuff is going to be inevitable, but you won't miss any of the big things as long as you don't rush the main quests.

Yeah Act 3 is where the game starts to feel VERY "overwhelming". Theres many things happening every corner and every companion knows different people. I say take your time with the game and enjoy it. Youll get around to all your quests eventually. Take it as it comes lol.

Thanks so much for the amazing video as always, a nice long one! It's appreciated, though I know it must be so much work for you. I loved seeing Astarion at the Gur camp, I normally kill Gandrel so seeing his cute little "hello again!" was new and very funny. Astarion is so interesting to me and though there can be debate on his own feelings behind his actions with the Gur, I found it refreshing that you didn't seem to like how rude you can be to/about him while at the camp, blaming him for it all. I've watched a lot of people play this game and most tend to be very angry with him about the children, completely forgetting that he was a thrall, worse than a slave, and COULDN'T do anything to resist it. Then you have a few on the other end of the spectrum who baby-fy him too much and act like he'd never do anything wrong. I enjoy the balance you strike in liking and respecting him, understanding what he's been through, but also calling him out when he is genuinely being an ass. Like with Yanna last episode. It's one of the reasons I enjoy watching YOU play out his story and romance more than most so I wanted to mention it! Your reaction to being told not to go into the barn and immediately needing to go into the barn was SO great (so real), and that pig was so cute! You handled that guy who is interested in Shadowheart very well too, can't wait to see where that goes. I think you handled Wulbren perfectly too, poor Barcus - but that's so true to life that it's hard for the person in the unhealthy friendship (or relationship) to really get how abused they are. Lastly, I'm only saying this because you asked what you should do next, is that my advise is to just take a deep breath and try not to get overwhelmed. Act 3 has A LOT going on and with how tightly packed things seem it can feel like too much, at least it did for me. I personally found it easier to just move along and clear the map and do things as they come up rather than try to follow a single thread even if it made it hard to focus on what to do, it help me not to feel like I was missing things. That said, some things may be missed and that's just the nature of playing such a massive game - that's what other play throughs are for! I hope you play however feels natural to you and you do what you like. Sorry for the extra long comment, I love your content so much thanks for playing!

Hey Kim, if you come across the graveyard(cemetery) in Balbur's Gate City, be sure to grab Karlach, there's a scene with her there.

You know, maybe a pocket nuke could come in handy at some point, even if the Gondians end up not deserving it, I am sure a few other people would.

Biscotti ❤ Since you asked recommendations about what to do next : Taking Shadowheart to the suspicous guy in the refugee camp will help progress her personal quest. Taking Gale up on the roof of the Ilmater church will lead to an interesting encounter. Though it might be a good idea to visit the building across the street in front of the church first. Act 3 is very, very dense with content. You're going to get side-tracked a lot during this part of the game. I'd say you still have at least 2 episodes before reaching the city proper. Maybe 3.

As to what I'd suggest doing next, there's still a few cool things/quests in the area around the refugees, like the post office. Also, it might be worth checking in with Jaheira, she normally tells you what she wants to do in Rivington, although I don't remember if she does it on her own or you need to ask her yourself. Oh DAMN, I thought I knew every NPC that Orin can potentially impersonate, I didn't know she could be the dying guy as well, wow. I was like "weird, my interaction with him wasn't like this at all...oh, wait...". This game just keeps on giving

Act 3 is overwhelming, especially once you reach lower city. On my first playthrough I literally dropped game for a couple of weeks because it was too much. What helped me once I reached lower city is that I actually pivoted from exploring randomly to focusing on specific quests from start to finish, otherwise it can happen that you spend hours just picking up quests and not resolving anything. This way you also slowly get used to layout of the city, once you're used to it, it is much easier to solve all the quests (and they're all good, there's no fetch quests a la mass effect andromeda :)) And just as a suggestion, from experience, very good choice of quest to focus on first once you reach lower city is Jaheira's personal quest. It leads you through multiple parts of the city, and there's also very good reason to finish that quest early (won't tell why for spoiler reasons).

I'm loving the Barcus appreciation lol. He's my second favorite NPC (only after Rolan) and he deserves so much better than Wulbren 😤

If you're feeling lost on what to do, I would suggest taking care of the companion quests within Rivington. Or at least head towards them...and if you get sidetracked, then so be it. 😋

the city is very big. Also, maybe it's a good thing I failed to save Wulbren at Moonrise.... lol
