Halsin interrupting that intimate moment was way funnier than it needed to be. I feel like the fact that he's gigantic makes every scene with him 10x more hilarious. I love how giddy you were while choosing the perfect party to take to Sharess' Caress, even though you ended up not doing anything because Astarion decided to be cute and sincere out of no where. Gotta bring the bestie, the boyfriend, and the side piece to the brothel 😂

IDK if it was mentioned in the game ever, but the Hells *do* have a figure ruling all nine layers who stands above the Archdevils like Zariel and Mephistopheles, an "Archdevil Supreme," as Raphael wanted to title himself. That would be Asmodeus, a Devil turned God, the Supreme Master of the Nine Hells who rules all the Hells from his throne at the bottom of Baator, and I think it's fairly well agreed upon by fans that even with the crown, Raphael would get his ass handed to him by Asmo the moment he became a problem.

I understand your motion sickness plight, I don't have issues when I play 3rd person games on the ground, but I do feel nauseous when I play games with space battles (mainly piloting space crafts or so). Some tips to avoid or minimize motion sickness while playing games: 1. Increase Field Of View. By maximizing the amount of landscape you see around you, there is less possibility of you getting dizzy, because some visual points in the landscape will always be in your visual field. 2. Disable all "shake" effects (head bob, weapon bob, screen shake etc.). 3. Disable post processing effects (depth of field, motion blur, chromatic aberration, bloom etc.) - some games have only one general setting for it. 4. [Nuclear option] Resize game window to smaller size. If sickness threatens to come back, you can just focus on elements outside the window for a second, and then continue playing. If you're on console, put something near the screen that you can focus on when you feel motion sickness taking over. Press pause, look at the object near the screen, then resume when you feel ready.

For what it's worth, the most fun I had in this game was the companion missions, but after that it was fighting the Architects. The least fun was activating the vaults. Stupid death cloud forcing me to run for my life.

Also, having just finished a playthrough where I romanced Shadowheart, I found it pretty funny that you had her leave the party when you got to the brothel as though she wouldn't approve. 😉 If you're playing as one of the companions OR as the Dark Urge origin, you get a 5th choice in the "rapture" dialogue with the nymph that is supposed to represent that character's true desire.

I get motion sickness from Andromeda, too! I have to limit my playtime, sadly. I never felt like that with Mass Effect.

It's been a few months since I've been able to watch any reactions. Glad to finally get the time to get caught up! Sorry to hear you're feeling nauseous while playing. You may want to see if there are any settings you can change to help. Increasing Field of View (FOV) can help a lot if the default is too low (I'm not sure if you can in these games on console). I get very sick if the FOV is much below 90. You can also try turning off Motion Blur and Camera Shake if those options are available. Hope you feel better!

You should have the ability to unlock Drack's loyalty mission now. Sorry you weren't feeling well towards the end. Since you're on the Nexus , visit the other pathfinder near Tan's office. You can definitely ignore the architect battles. Poor Nora 😢😅. The memory triggers fetch quests are done, the rest of the mystery will have a resolution at some point.

You do briefly hear the Rogue One theme in A New Hope. It’s when Obi Wan tells Luke, “I need your help, Luke, she needs your help. I’m getting too old for this sort of thing.” It’s as if the Rogue One team has no handed the baton to Luke for the fight.

Awesome vid as always! I loved how you argued with him when Astarion assumed you were in favor of him ascending, that was legit so funny because I'm the same way, getting heated with fictional characters haha. And then it was cute later when you talked about the foursome with him, I feel like "don't be so nice to me, it makes me want to be nice back" is pretty much exactly his entire character. It's easy to forget how much sexual trauma he has when he likes to pretend he's a hedonist, but we know the real him! Also, I've never taken the Raphael deal in the past but I'm going to in my current run and I'm excited (worried) to see how it goes haha.

25:40 "Hail Cyric" oh, boy, 4 playthroughs, never knew the ox was more than... well, that whatever "he" is he is also a Cyric worshiper. Prince of Lies, The Mad one. Without essaying Cyric is sort of like .... insane, and cool, in his mad way, like someone described him as Loki-esque type of god. Around 100 years before the events of the game Shar and Cyric, well Shar with the usage of Cyric, plotted and succeed with the murder of Mystra, the previous "version" (reincarnation) of the goddess of magic Gale is so obsessed with. Since Mystra is kind of magic, what followed was called Spellplague - a massive cataclysm that lead to deaths of ... hundreds of thousands(?) at least. In the end of the day, Cyric is a proper insane fella of a god. Literally, The Mad God. Was a human once, btw, just like the Dead Three.

1:14:04 Ooo! I love that this book is about a paladin of Sune. Fun personal fact my main D&D character I play as a player, who I also played in BG3 is also a paladin of Sune. I may have mentioned them before but they’re a tiefling named Goldenheart who grew up as an urchin wild magic sorcerer in Baldur’s Gate after their dad (the pope-like leader of Elturel at the time) left them there since he knew Zariel was going to pull the city into the Hells years later. When they grew up they became a paladin of Sune because love from their friends was what kept them going so of course they were gonna follow the love goddess. They also became a Harper because they see tyranny as the enemy of love and wish to strike it down wherever it appears but don’t really know how to (they’ve got 8 intelligence but the wisdom to know that xD) so they are like “Ill join this faction who’s MO is *fight tyranny* and I am sure they’ll put me to use where they need me” The Harpers appreciate their enthusiasm. But they can’t keep a secret very well and their wild magic makes them unpredictable so a lot of the higher ups view them as a liability sometimes.

One of the best episodes yet 😂 the awkward giggles in Sharress's Caress were my exact reaction my first time playing, and I love how everyone who romances Astarion ends up robbing every locked chest they see lol

Drow twins have some of the most hilarious dialogue if you take their offer. And there's loads of it for all the different combinations (solo with the guy, the girl, or with, well, bigger numbers). You can also come back with Astarion later after you finish his quest. Or with Halsin, if at some point you'll finally manage to progress to the next level :) (Halsin's dialoguewith drow twins is really something)

It's very normal to feel overwhelmed by amount of content and quests in this act. It gets easier though, just take it slow and enjoy as plots unravel. There's still so much to discover. Also, I totally get that you want to move on, but just as a heads up, there's one very short quest you missed in Rivington that I think you will really want to tackle next time you're back there. You already noticed that Scratch was mentioned at post office. You missed area just outside of the post office where there are kennels and some dogs that you will really want to check out.
