The Eagle's Claw school and the Praying Mantis school are rivals. When the Praying Mantis school attacks the Eagles and kills the Eagle's head teacher, the prized student joins the Mantis. The remaining Eagle's Claw students toughen up in order to save their pride and their lives.

This is a movie that has Wang Tao,Chi Kwan Chun and the legendary Chang Yi who played ..the actor in Superman Chu!This is a movie that has the best fighting you can ask for in a movie.Chang Yi is the best when playing the villain and does he play his part well and I can truly say this is a classic!!

@@Ilkvomit Philip Kao Fei is not Philip Kuo Cui (5 Venom). Philip Kao Fei played in this movie in the 80’s he played at Tiger On Beat with Aman Chou Jun Fa & Conan Lee.

I am a fan of all kung fu movies! Especially the Wu Tang classics. The dialogue, the scenery and background and techniques of the eagles claw and mantis fist. My style is unorthodox, and a combination of the silverback and Iron Lion knee.

not overlooked, has the least kung fu and mostly complex intrigue and character acting. It's flawed too, as he killed two innocent students to make his deception believable. The only part i liked in this was Yu Chau the woman on the bad clan side who fell in love with the first student, i disliked her at first at beginning of movie but then fell for her charm when she mellowed down and started acting jealous and a woman in love. I wanted her and 1st to end up as a real couple.

Dude that plays the leader of the bad guys, never saw him fight so much!!! (Usually he gets killed at the end of movies and the fights suck and are very short.) This one has REAL eagle claw technique GREAT MOVIE AND ASIDE THE VILLAIN, THERE WAS ALSO 3 TOP EXPERT FIGHTERS.

Chinese kung fu movies ignored such a superior style eagle claw, and most movies presented the style as the bad guys favorite. Like the descendant of wing chun and snake in eagle's shadow.

I saw this at the Sun Sing Theater under the Manhattan Bridge!!! I was 12 yrs old!!! Every weekend My Dad would take me to 3 theaters in Chinatown...The Sun Sing...The Music Palace...and The Pagoda Theater!🙏💎💎💎😎

"eagle claw" i think might be the most well known Kung Fu word across generations and cultures. its always the go to for the "joke" right? lol. why i love these cheesy movies im sure i dont know, but i do. every grand master with their poor eyebrow hygiene. the longer, the more deadly the Kung-Fu!
