TTL is awesome. Did you know he’s actually a taekwondo guy? I saw an interview where he talked about it. Said he chose TKD because he wanted to compete full contact and at the time that was the only place doing it. IIRC, John Liu (another famous kicker) was his student.

It's pretty obvious it was intended as a 3D film when you notice the typical old school 3D gimmicks, like objects flying directly at the camera.

I was playing piano as a solo or duo (with singer) in bars and clubs in '79. In the middle of that year my buddies and I discovered D&D. By Christmas we'd bought all the 1st edition books and a bunch of modules. Long before that, when I was in the fleet ('72-4) I used to practice Shorin Ryu karate on the fantail in the mornings. Bruce Lee movies were all the rage, so I had a sort of grudging respect from the rest of the crew. I still practice karate today, though I am several years into the process of turning what I know into zero impact dance out of respect for my age and the state of my poor hands. I still play in bars, too, but only for a few songs and, even then, only for fun.
