I think while Encore has higher theoretical damage, Jiyan is a lot easier to play and will probably net better results for players. Encore has less AoE and is harder to parry whereas Jiyan just spams AA and groups everyone and also auto parries essentially.

A lot of them also seem to think he's uploading these clips even though this is an unofficial channel. He probably doesn't feel knowledgeable enough about this game to make his own videos giving these kind of takes than when he's just doing twitch content (because as a video, it'd reach more people and there'd be more people who take this list without the context of him openly acknowledging he is wrong).

you really should look into jianxin more, she's extremely underrated and id rate her at least A in all modes. everyone focuses on her shield but thats not even the selling point of her kit in this game. she has 50% damage reduction in forte skill and she actually doesnt stack her shield so you can literally get hit a few times and get the full shield at the end of it. also she auto-parries in forte skill, her normal attacks linger quite a long time so she can parry bosses easy. her counter attack is also a bonus. her liberation deals nice damage and really good in AoE, her outro skill buffs mortefi really well and her intro skill chops away bosses' toughness shield. %100 recommend

I don't know how he's sitting in damage (though he feels fine so far), but Lingyang definitely feels good in holos and general gameplay too. He's not as vulnerable mid-air as people are claiming, it's not Wanderer - he actually stays in the air, and he can dodge attacks. Or, he can dash behind a boss to avoid certain attacks while still attacking. Plus, while his normal attacks are not too great for parries, his E is amazing and works wonders, it's very responsive and I can consistently parry with it. And also, for bosses that move a lot, his dash also covers that issue. From experience with holograms for now, he feels great there. Honestly, I'm having more issues carrying out smooth Sanhua rotations, since it's a bit hectic to find yourself in all that ice and time the Forte well without getting thrown out by an attack.

Yuanwu strength is not the off field damage, is to help stagger enemy easier even if he’s off-field. He’s not that good but he’s definitely better than what he said.

This is unrelated but Zajef as the all knowing being you are, I have a question, should I pull biazhu or save for Chlorinde and Alhatiam. I want a good sustain and healer for my furina team, at the moment I’m using jean. And would like an upgrade. But I’m also looking for a good dps, I have most good units for Alhatiam and Cholrinde. But idk which one I should get. So should I skip or pull for Baizhu and if so do I get Cholrinde or Alhatiam

I like jean with Furina quite a bit, pull Baizhu only if you wanna play dendro team with furina. If your priority is getting more units to play w furina, imo go for the self heal units like Clorinde or Neuvillette, Neuv is a lot better but he just reran and Clorinde is next banner

Yuanwu is the only character who gives interruption resistance atm. Shields do not give interruption resistance. His scaling actual numbers are decent, and he'll get better with levels. With Cons he also gives a shield and DEF, so when he says he'll protect everyone, he means it. He'll make it so your characters don't die. But yeah he doesn't do a ton of damage, also, that said, there isn't a ton of off-field damage in the game anyway. I think he's good for the ranged characters, namely Chixia who does a lot of damage but has to be vulnerable for awhile to get off 30 consecutive shots of her Thermobaric bullets in one go. I get interrupted last second a lot. With someone like Yuanwu, that won't happen. Him doing off-field damage is more than the 0 all the other characters save like two, do.

OOF this aint it chief, havoc rover with dreamless is just the cream of the top rn high dmg and ease of use heck it can cheese some floor of tower with the Hvc rover+Danjin dreamless combo (spam R and E, check out IWTL vid), the top dps (not counting rover since people still calc it) is Encore (with perfect rotation+timing) and Jiyan with his signature (which Jiyan is the only one who surpass the 3k mark with it as of now).

U can recover your hp right back up if u use the right comboes but pple don't. Think it was 2 basic atk, 2 E's and then u can do a heavy to get back ur hp. But there's much more u can do, I just haven't used her much cause I can't afford to build her all the way.

And I agree with the placement, he's very good damage wise, but can be a bit tricky to time his attacks/set him up, and he's a greedy onfield carry, so that's the downside... I myself am not planning on playing encore, jiyan, calcharo, yinlin...etc just because i dont care about their char design. I dont really care about having to use whats meta. If a char i like is meta, thats cool, if not, thats cool too.

I do think jiyan is cool but after trying him during the trial I decided to wait for someone else. And if u really think about it most people won't be using most of the char either. We all just pick and choose differently. I just wanted to point out that you don't have to feel pressured to play meta if you dont want to and just because some tierlist says calcharo is top tier one day and or overrated another day shouldn't change your experience playing with him and whether you are having fun.
