Btw if you didn't know you can turn your world tier down and it helps double your farming effectiveness. The world tier doesn't affect the echo drops it's only affects resource drops and amounts. It makes the enemies squishier and easier to kill, making it faster. P.s the boss Echos are 50/50 drops. Elites are a 1/4 (kills 3 elites and get a guaranteed echo on the 4th) speed run to max data level GOOOOOOO

@@_mako the alternating between bosses just speeds it up, the boss respawns within like what 3 mins? if you kill another boss during it's downtime you can guarantee a boss echo every 3 mins, provided you have enough damage to kill bosses in that time frame

If strictly farming echoes from bosses, you can also lower your world level to kill them faster and get the same rate of drops. The drop rate and rarity are tied strictly to your data bank level, so farming bosses at a lower level will be easier. The only thing is that you can only go up and down world levels every 12 hours.

tried this on my elite farm run today it does work, it has 4 pity echo drop the thing is, it really extends your farm time by a lot, because when you're killing the non desired echo they sometimes drop early, which reset the pity count

I'm in uni right now and I am still grinding. Easiest thing for genshin is to log in and condense resin/do daily commissions while hsr is on in the background spending trailblaze power. And then if I have time I'll spend some waveplates in wuwa and/or do some quests depending on how much time I have.

Knew about it before the vid comes so to summarise it basically overlord and calamity uses a 2 pity system in which if you dont hit the 20% the next is going to be guranteed where as the elite and common have a pity system of 3-5 (i dont remember). Just remember that this pity only works in each of their own classes meaning if you kill an overlord and didnt drop then the next overlord boss will gurantee you a drop. For calamity bosses pretty much the same but for it to work you have to kill the same boss class like for example an overlord to overlord and calamity to calamity bosses cuz their pity system are seperated

same applies to calamity bosses. You kill for example the turtle and it didnt drop so you decided to kill another calamity boss which is the dreamless and itll be a guranteed drop

thanks to this I managed to get the core 4 cost for all of my chars (even the ones I don't plan to raise any time soon) pity that the echo exp and 3 cost elemental damage farming is still very shit that getting your core 4 cost main summon is the least of your worries

I don't understand how to use this information. If there's a two pity system for calamity class, and I'm targeting dreamless, why would I not just farm dreamless again to guarantee it? For over world I can see slight potential - if you are keeping track of how maybe elite bosses you kill without getting drops, it's good to know that the next one is guaranteed going to give a drop. But I'm personally not gonna be able to just randomly keep track of elite bosses and their drops - the whole point of farming is going brain afk and enjoy the mechanics of the combat. Can someone please help me understand how I can use this information of pity effectively?

If you want to farm Turtle boss for Verina, you can do Dreamless at lvl40 during the 3 min downtime between spawns. If you cycle it non stop, you can basically double the speed of which you farm the Turtle boss

Looking at it another way, we now know what NOT to do. If you're farming for a specific Overlord echo, if it doesn't drop the first time, you shouldn't kill another Overlord while waiting for it to respawn, but should instead do something else, for example killing calamity bosses, elites, or exploring.

@@Romxnrogers0226I dont get your question cuz other bosses are still relatively slow to defeat. but I'll explain anyway...? Calamity Class (there are 3 but Scar doesnt count cuz its a Human enemy and they do not drop Echoes) - Dreamless - Bell Turtle thing Since Dreamless is in a Domain that we can choose it's level to fight, choosing the lowest should be the most easiest way to farm Dreamless Echoes. After defeating it just exit and re-enter. Bell Turtle thing is on the Overworld, so it has a timer or cooldown before it can respawn again. So it's inefficient but if you need it's Echo then you just need to wait. Overlord Class (8 in total) is all on the Overworld, to make your farming for these bosses Echoes, people would recommend to lower your 'World Level' (located in your menu under your profile picture and press the ! button), This way, all of the Overworld bosses (Including Calamity and Overlord) it is significantly much 'easier' and 'faster' to farm them. All of this is still depending on your Data Bank level tho. People would recommend that you get to Lvl 17 (cuz it has better rate 50/50 to get gold or purple) first before farming Echoes. In theory, even if all the boss is Lvl 1, you would still get gold Echoes because 'World Level' does not affect the rarity of all Echoes, only your Data Bank.

@@Romxnrogers0226 it isn't. in dreamless' case, its faster to just spam redoing it since it has no cooldown. for calamity bosses, its only worth the other way around, (aka fodder killing dreamless to guarantee turtle drop) so you don't waste the turtle's cooldown without getting a drop from it

Just a heads up for anyone who wants to know, this echo farming tech works best for Crownless. As the 20/100% chances for echo drop doesnt apply to Crownless (meaning u can fight Crownless multiple times in a row and not get a single echo), you can guarantee an echo drop every single time for Crownless using this tech.

I feel like this was definetly intended, think about it, if someone were to kill every single TD in the map and never get a single Echo drop, that's be outrageous, this "pity" is essentially a way to stop a mindless grinding for absolute nothing. Then you consider that you still have to get Main Stats, Sub Stats and wheter the Echo is golden or not (Since not everyone gets Sol-5 this early) and you start realizing that it's actually pretty fair. You get the Echo you want, but have to roll out the stats. For an Open World grinding system this feel very encouraging towards going out and exploring the world while collecting equipment.

I tried it yesterday and multiple times i had to kill up to 6-7 echos to get a drop. So this is not true. There is no 4 time pity system for normal echos! For the bosses it seems so be true they have a 2 time pity system

Echo rarities are based on data bank level. Ive farmed the level 40 dreamless for all my gold dreamless echos. Just dont turn your brain off and accidentally collect the rewards that cost wave plates from the level 40 boss

Boss Echoes: If you get 0 first, you get 1 next. 3 costers: If you get three consecutive 0s, you get 1 next. So match your desired targets with "1".

@mostmediocre2887 in data bank. It tells u the normal drop rate and enchanced drop rate for overlord and calamity class echos. U get 15 everyday I think. Ig u gotta read between the lines to understand it as it doesn't straight up tell u but I was able to infer it anyway. Seeing the amount of videos on this, it's safe to say that alot of the player base wasn't aware of this so don't worry about it

The game has an enhanced drop rate system which increases with data bank level, it’s not a pity system. It’s a weekly thing that should’ve reset on Monday but it was bugged and didn’t, which seemingly brought up this pity bug at the same time. Idk if now everybody got the reset, but I got it on Wednesday and after using all the chances, I killed dreamless 4 times in a row and didn’t get anything

Basically if you want to farm a specific boss (let's call it Boss A) , there is a chance that you may not get the echo drop , so the trick is : start with another boss that you don't care about (boss B) , and when you fail to get the echo drop from boss B, u go and fight Boss A and the echo drop will be guatanteed

i use jiyan finish the monsters his drop rate really high for me 😅before last 3 to 5 hit i use his skill (not ult) then i hold basic attck. very high drop for me.

While I don't think this is worth it for farming purposes, I do see it as potentially useful for sniping certain things: Entries in your data bank that you're missing. Choosing the order in which several elites you're fighting should die while farming Sniping phantom echoes, perhaps?

Sweaty and inefficient. Wait for db20/sol-5 and save yourself some time. Excessive Echos farming, pity counting, detouring to build pity, these will burn you out sooner or later.

I did, but I played very cautious, dodge its easy attacks, but its combs I put distance from the range. I wouldnt say I want to farm it, as it took a bit of time. and being cautious soaked up more time. And messing up can ruin the progress.

who cares about grinding echoes when u can level them up! I'm union level 36 and I'm out of echo exp tubes even with BP. tacet fields give u 18k exp each run and cost 60 waveplates, so it takes 2 days at least to level an echo to 25. the leveling/tuning system is terribly designed and it will kill the game if they won't change it.
