@@Supreme_Bargainer frankly i don't know. GI had 4 years to improve. We would need to compare 1.0 of both games. Also there is personal preference. To this day, one of my favorite designs are still Jean and Beidou, both characters are quite old. On the other hand, i really don't like Ningguang skin but adore her base skin by example.

@@sweetproject6337you have to remember some of these comparisons arn’t completely balanced its a 5 star character vs a 4 star or a 5 star standard banner. The designs will be better for the limited banner 5 stars. They intentionally put more effort into limited 5 stars in these games

@@j.k9316 more than 1 color=/= vibrancy. Vibrant means bright and eye catching colors. The doll mommy has muted red and purple accents. Same thing with tiger boy, he’s mostly white with slight yellow and red. Neither of them are vibrant. If I really liked them because they’re vibrant I would love encore but I don’t since she only has one shade of pink.

Idk, all i see from Wuwa designs are either black or white. There's no variety and none of the characters stand out from another, they blend so much. Genshin designs definitely feel more unique and interesting imo.

which is I prefer more tbh. I hardly attracted to a game at first glance, but Genshin did that to me and WuWa don't. I didn't play WuWa CBT but I did watch some of the gameplay, and imo, WuWa animations and movements are a bit too stiff while Genshin is more detailed and natural. In good animations, there is a thing we called exaggeration which WuWa is lacking compared to Genshin.

@@S.A_5w6 true. WuWa is just starting, so they can polish more easily if they want to. I won't be playing WuWa, but competition is always good for us players. Genshin is finally bringing more changes that benefits players because of WuWa.

They didn't need to do that , unless there is big backlash from the community or there's a new competitor, that's why I thought maybe they are worried. But maybe I'm wrong and I can accept that.

@@_aryan_570 I can see why someone would say that, but these changes take ages to go through departments and get accepted, its likely they were planning this increase months ago already, before wuthering waves had a date set. I do think they chose the time to be around waves release sure, but I dont think this was done as a reaction to wuthering waves coming out, and even if it was, then it was a bit weak right? like if they were really scared, they could have done a lot more with resin, people have been asking for faster regen rate for years as well, or being able to condense more resin, or having overflow resin like in honkai star rail. If they implemented these systems, then I could see them being worried, but they only gave us 40 extra resin, which is nice, but nothing crazy.

That's what I'm saying it looks like a genshin copy but that looks better in everything. I think it might not achieve Genshin success but it is definitely more fun and flawless then genshin to play.

Genshin impact and wuthering waves are in the same genre and I rlly don't get how people think they are a copy? anime? Genshin didn't make that 3d models? Genshin didn't start that either Open world? Guess what genshin didn't make that either they are similar no doubt about that but they are also very different just like how many gacha games are quite different despite having a ton of similarities since they are in the same genre. Overall they are very different games
