Exploring part of the vast Italian built underground tunnel and bunker system around Zadar, Croatia. These Tunnels were used before and during WW2 and then again during the Yugoslav Wars in the 90s. A local expert shows me the tunnels and talks about their purpose.

Yesterday, we were with Jurica in several bunkers. Excellent guide who knows a lot about history. Allegedly, there are about 250 bunkers in Zadar. Amazing fact.

@@TattooedTraveler He's a pro at it then. Must know everything one needs to know about entering those places. Have you ever come across any war relics in those tunnels, bunkers? I imagine, everything has been picked clean. I enjoy the WW2 body recovers, relic diggers videos on youtube too. The stuff they find is amazing.

Yeh bro, I watch those too. I was looking into some cheap detectors. I heard stories about helmets and guns but my friend here only found helmets so I think the guns part is bullshi*. But yeh long gone.

@@TattooedTraveler I've seen them dig up a lot of clumped up rusted, wood parts completely gone guns, full ammo boxes, etc. The Russian guys really know where to look. I was watching one yesterday where they were in a huge plowed field. They found these Russian foxholes scattered all about, with remains in each.

Must have been nice to have a local who could guide you. I sure couldn't get excited walking through those small corridors/tunnels. Glad you take the videos to share with us!! Even tho you persevered to get to the end all you could do was turn around but you're probably right it was planned but never finished so that made it interesting to see before and after (finished).

nothing short of amazing. I think this should be named "the crazy video" as you kept saying this is crazy !! I have never seen anything like this before. you must have tough skin from crawling over the rubble in these places. the latrines or bathrooms, some for a couple of people...brings a whole new meaning to togetherness. here we would call that a "two holer" 😆thanks for the awesome video, subbed.

your corrupted file could be caused by radiation in the area, you should not go underground without bringing a Geiger counter or otherwise radiation detector, radiation can occur naturally in the earth near certain types of geology.

that was neat bro.... thanks for documenting it and sharing; perhaps that unfinished tunnel is some sort of drainage basin that was never meant to be more than what it is with the drain/vent thing at the bottom end that is my best guess... was it the lowest point in the complex? .if you find out, and care to share I'd be happy to know. Appreciate it bro! Turns out it was an unfinished fighting position, the drainage system you see are the squares we occasionally stepped over. So basically the 50 percent point of what we were walking thru most of the video. Was definitely interesting tho.

What were all these tunnels used for? BTW if you turn up the frame rate on your camera, you won’t get that flickering light.

Italian border tunnels built in the 30s and used in WW2 and the war here in the 90s. Thanks bro thats actually a great tip. 💯🤙

Technical bit here. You need to change the fps (Frames Per Second) of your camera as it is currently running at the same PPS (Pulse Per Second) of your LED torches and headlamp, very hard for some people to watch and also it washes out details of your videoing.

That, I have no idea, but they must have built some well system because it's usually pretty dry in these.
