THE SERGEANT. This is not, NOT what the law enforcement system is set up to be, should be, or should accepted to be. This senior officer was going to illegally violate this man's rights on a whim, simply as an abuse of his authority, because he thought the driver wouldn't know better and he was going to bring false accusations against him. He was doing nothing wrong so the threat of arrest, illegal search, and violating his rights to record should be sanctioned against that officer by whatever state he is in. He should NOT BE AN OFFICER OF THE LAW BECAUSE HE DOESN'T UPHOLD THE LAW instead he goes around subjecting people he believes has no voice to abuse. When the man told him he was a lawyer he scoffed and said yea right and an uber driver right and laughed, it's when he asked him if he wanted to see his bar card all of a sudden he disappeared.This is so disturbing. Allowing police to "investigate" themselves is no different than: 1)Allowing a child sex offender to change a baby diaper...alone. 2)Allowing a meth addict to dispense narcotics in a pharmacy. 3)Allowing a cannibal to perform a human autopsy.

The officer was demoted from sergeant to corporal. (Corporals with the Wilmington P.D. are apparently allowed to lie, I guess) Right before the lying cop retired, he was promoted back to sergeant WITH back pay and then allowed to retire the next day. The "Thin Blue Line" seems to run very crooked in Delaware.

Police Training Rules 1. Make your first approach friendly to help victim to incriminate it own self. 2. Step #1 does not work. Then go aggressive talk and intimidating. 3. Make sure you guys are more polices as witnesses that way any violation of the victim rights cant be use against you in court (thats why their trained to pull you over in dark lonely roads so you have 0 witnesses to help you prove anything they say). 4. Bring more officers make sure theres no evidence so you can then do whatever you want depending of the situation. 5. If victim looks poor and with a criminal record then you can abuse and brake he's laws since there is a very low chance this victim can afford for an attorney. Still be careful as a police remember your literally violating he's rights. And thats some of the training the Police get. At Least thats what a Lawyer told me!

Yeah, it's sad that we have a lot of corrupted officers that are willing to lie to citizens. This attorney did the right thing, I applaud him for standing up for his constitutional rights. Here's a suggestion, maybe sometime the driver should have two cameras rolling an out of view one and a phone in a cradle recording and when a police officer asks you to turn it off, reluctantly agree bit leave the other one recording and see how they behave then. It would be an interesting video.
@RobertSmith-bc9uk3 жыл бұрын
I believe that you can program some phones to "appear to shut down" when in fact they will still record but the screen is blank. As for having hidden "cameras" plural, that is an extremely good idea Set them up so that they cover the complete driver and passenger windows.
