Legendary showmen. These guys gave their sweat & blood every night & had a series of BRUTAL matches. Hard-core pioneers & masters at their craft. These 2 not only kept the fans on their feet but kept them coming back again & again. I wish pro wrestling were still presented in this manner but sadly it's been long dead. And it won't be coming back 😔

RIP the legendary Bruiser Brody . A trueHardcore Legend in every way . His battles with Abdullah The Butcher whether it was Puerto Rico, Canada , Texas , Atlanta , etc . These 2 put on bloody , violent matches and pioneered the Hardcore style . A shame that Brody died the way he did let alone Jose Gonzales aka Invader#1 got away with it . Always remembered. The legend continues of him . Have a VHS 📼 and DVDs of his wars . Respect and Salute to his legend .

God bless Frank. He gave it his all in his matches. And made the people LEGIT terrified of him. And rightfully so. It was a terrible end to an awesome legendary career. That i can only imagine he would have continued for another 10yrs before he finally retired. I think about the guys in this business he could have faced. More matches with Vader and other talent in Japan that would have been something to see. One can only wonder what could have been for one Bruiser Brody. Tragic end to an icon in this industry.

@craigstrachan2 ай бұрын
That would have been a match for the ages and a sought after one for tape traders if that was recorded . I definately would have wanted a copy of it . 2 of the most Hardcore Wrestlers on the planet doing battle in the Barbed Wire. Would have been a bloody classic . Most likely would have happened in Japan .Brody and Cactus both are respected in Japan and they would have given their all just to prove who the better man was . Couldn't pick a winner and wouldn't want to . Just would have watched the bloody, violent spectacle and enjoy every minute of it.

@ivanarrache51543 жыл бұрын
Not much really. When a wrestler ends up fighting in Puerto Rico, Japan or Mexico, it is because either he is very young and is learning the trade, or he is old and nobody would hire him in WWF or any larger company. So it was with Dutch Mantel and Tony Atlas, who by that time were NO longer in WWF. Likewise, Bruiser Brody was over 40 years old, and his career on major circuits was long overdue.

@@Videogamestwin theres no one else in the showers when that happened that's why inavader self defense allegations cause nobody saw what happened and obviously brody cant talk
@craigstrachan2 ай бұрын
Well it's a known fact that it was Jose Gozales aka Invader #1. Tony Atlas saw the whole thing apparently and was there to take him to the hospital and was there with him when died . Also that night a bunch of the wrestlers had a meeting because of what happened they were getting out of Puerto Rico in protest and fear of their lives. Remember Tony Atlas and Dutch Mantel talking about it in a Shoot Interview and how they got their Subpenas for Gozales' trial the day after he was found not guilty of Brody 's Murder. Apparently it was over money that Brody was owed and Brody and Gozales had beef from years ago when Brody shot on Gonzales in a match and beat him bloody and almost ended his career . This was payback . Gozales went on TV to fix his tarnished image after the murder . Business in Puerto Rico and WWC went down because no wrestlers wanted to work there after that incident . Rumor has it that if you stand in the shower area where Brody was murdered you will feel a chill . Even in the summer. That' s an eerie thought to say rhe least . Gonzales knew what he was doing . Supposedly Carlos Colon was in on it as well but has never denied or confirmed this . Member seeing a clip on KZfaq and RF Video' s Rob Feinstein asked him about it and as straight faced as possible pretty much blew that off . Even he was made to keep quiet about it or didn't want to risk the statue of limitations implementing himself being involved let alone any knowledge of it .
