Just watched a shoot where he said he threatened Abdullah what would happen if he cut him. Also "zues" kept 2 armed guards with guns drawn with him all tour so abby probably knew he wasn't playing lol

@@kibayasha7301 then whats the real point of even booking this match? Abdullah’s whole gimmick centers around a bloody blading. Zeus couldn’t really wrestle. When you take out the Abdullah blading which could have been the only useful aspect of the match then there was zero to work with.

lifelong wrestling fan here and I just wanted to say from the stories I've heard I would never ever ever want to wrestle in Puerto Rico. I mean the fans were actually ferocious there. And let's not forget what happened to poor bruiser Brody.

The killing of Brody was absolutely horrible. Now as a Puertorican who grew up in the island during this time, I have to say the wrestlers loved the fan's intensity. The fans got so into it that it made their job even better. I'm not aware of any actual attacks on the heels by the fans so it was all left in the arena.

@@mini_worx brody murder came back to haunt him cause all American wrestlers walked out . the fans sfopped attending cause of invader .colon had no choice but distance himself from invader. Invader couldnt even get a autograph session.n resorted to doin kids parties. After the dark side ring episode invaded was completely unwanted. Even Mexico promoters refuse to let wrestle there.

Bruiser stayed at our house on a few occasions. Let's just my parents partied heavily. Wrestler's got free room and other stuff. So they didn't have to stay at hotels. Waking up to- Bruiser eating a Pot of oatmeal and bowl of boiled eggs, and Chris Adam's coming out of my sister's room. I was usually gone at my 1st dad's house, n didn't get to see or meet many I seen Billy Jack Haynes naked coming out of one of the bathrooms upstairs.... " Mmm mom" ?! My hero banging my mom! 49 years later im still coming to terms with that. Lol But yeah, Bruiser was fun as hell!! Bring me toys or leave me toys. Autographed pics or would leave Polaroids there autographed. Thx invader one. You're a real human being. One thing u can't do in wrestling: injury on purpose that'll lose u work time, and murdering one of your own. U could get real heat by murdering ppl , but not another wrestler! Oh... I met Butch Reed too. Some midgets stayed over 1 night. Lol, tho I wasn't there. Maybe my sister lied about that? Maybe it was just they wrestled the night B4 or something

@@noyb12345 I remember having a conversation with my friend at school about who Ted DiBiase's mystery partner was going to be at Survivor Series '90. We really thought it was going to be Zeus, as we'd only just started to notice his absence from the company, so it seemed fitting that he should make a timely return. Then when DiBiase's mystery partner was revealed, and I saw Undertaker walk out for the very first time, I remember being totally disappointed it wasn't Zeus. However, it only took around 1 minute of seeing Taker in action before realizing he was my new favorite wrestler lol. He's remained my favorite ever since!

From Friday to The Dark Knight, Tiny Lister had many memorable roles during his career. Jackie Brown and the Fifth Element stand out as two of my favorites. Was surprised when I read years ago that this match had occured, and forgot all about it until stumbling across it on KZfaq. His paycheck for this had to be massive. Gonna look for shoot interview clips where he may have spoken about this

Tiny Lister Jr. Is actor some can make the match look real and some aren't as good at it.I met Tiny Lister Jr one time when I worked at Ralph's in Cali in Beverly/Wilshire area..he's a big dude..half the comments wouldn't even been said if you seen him in person.He's a nice guy..but still intimidating.

That would be probably all he ever needed if he was marketed right, he could have been like Brock Lesnar. Imagine him being managed by Ted Dibiase. His character could have evolved overtime, can’t forget the reason he was brought in to the wwf was to promote the no holds barred movie. He had more moves in the movie than he had on tv.

I’m not sure who thought this was a good idea. You take Zeus who’s only moves were bear hugs, forearm smashes and chokes and pit him against Abdullah who’s basic gimmick is to blade the guy.

Say what you will about Zeus's wrestling ability or lack there of but I think he wrestled this way because that's what his character was supposed to wrestle like. I'm sure if he'd been allowed to use more technical moves, he would've used them. His tag match against Hogan was one of my favorites, but that had to do with how they used Zeus in it.

I guess one flaw in his character was that they didn't give him any kind of weakness; Like how the Undertaker had the Urn in early years and (in-story) his opponents would occasionally steal and hide it to "weaken" him.
