Following our earlier coverage of the updates to WWE 2K23 Universe Mode, here's a short compilation of cutscenes that were triggered using the new rivalry actions feature.

☆☆☆ About Universe Mode ☆☆☆
This year Universe Mode includes a new "Rivalry Actions" feature which allows players to customise rivalry options and select cutscenes to appear during matches.
Available cutscenes are split into five categories, including Attack, Cheap Shot, Disrespect, Showdown, and Sportsmanship.
After selecting a category, players are taken to a list of available cutscenes where they can select which cutscene they want to appear.

Loving the extended control we’ll get, but since they Initially said they were (in a way) combining my rise with universe mode, or “implementing” the same system used in my rise, I expected a lot more. But like everyone else, hyped for the new features and hoping they didn’t show it off entirely. Hoping for some fun surprises

These are just the ones they chose to showcase. There are 100 cutscenes in total new and old. The devs confirmed it themselves on an assemble video

I hope they add/improve these cutscenes as the series progresses. Of course I have my nitpicks to every game, but I clearly understand that 2K's approach is simply build up on the last game. 2k22 was Step#1, and despite my nitpicks, I do believe that the series will get better as it moves on.

There are more cutscenes than this, this is just a limited amount and the content creators covering it didn't have time to go over everything since they were hanging out with friends while recording.

I like the wrestlers when they shake hands respectfully as they continue the match without trying to cheat their opponent, like for example they give them a close line after they shake their hands. Basically that's a good animation.

Now I get why so many stories start the same way in universes before... They have a point pay system. If you went free mode, you probably would have gotten more than just this.

You’re exactly correct. They confirmed free mode on an assemble video. There are 100 cutscenes new and old in total.

Do you know if it jumps straight into cutscenes or does it an entrance than the cutscene, I.E Dijak vs Ziggler does it show dijak entrance than cutscene or just start with him in the ring? Thanks for the update vids!

Well these are generic cutscenes meant to be used by everyone. The should bring back what they did for the 2k15 rivalry system where you can reignite old rivalries and do “what if” rivalry and in those you can have the commentary team refer to each star specifically.

Game developer should understand myrise is for certain time after that there's nothing to play for. Universe mode should be focused more and should be improved cause it's the only thing that will make gamer stick with game.

I am very disappointed with WWE 2K23, got the game on Saturday. You can't do double title matches. A created Superstar doesn't have Doubletitle Entrances. You cannot use the jukebox songs as entrance music.
