I agree with you bro. They couldn’t even bring back show intros. A small feature I think would be super easy to add and useful is wins/loses tracking for superstars because we all know the ranking system doesn’t work.

Friend, I’m infuriated. I wait all year for this universe mode which is the best mode of the game but it’s neglected, the intros, promos, and create a story are missing… all of this is really crazy!!!

I wanna leave my wishes here maybe wwe2k25 can bring a better universe mode. 1- Drafts 2- Brand vs Brand ( they should add this in my gm too ) 3- sign a gm in universe mode 4- mix tag rivalry 5- new cut scene for forming a tag team 6- promos and the ability to write down what we want to say 7- having our own record instead of having a real record of titles, Royal-rumble elimination etc 8- sign a commentary team

Universe mode needs an overhaul. I feel like it’s great where it’s at now for people that are booking their own shows manually and writing it down and whatnot. But to pick up and just play it’s not that fun to play. It hasn’t been the fun since wwe12-wwe2k14

They need to combine MyGM and Universe Mode into one mode like 2k did for MyLeague and allow us to customize the settings to our liking. Both modes have features we wish the other mode had.

It's 2 reasons why they don't care about universe mode.Another company was the one who started universe and they are still catering to ps4.

The fact that BDE and Macho T were pointing out so many things especially BDE. For the first time I could visibly see him frustrated and NOTHING being done about universe mode. Especially fighting the same person over amd over again

They could've at least given us triple threat rivalries man.. it sucks to not be able to have 3 people fighting it out in different matchups and have a big 3-way conclusion match at a PLE potentially for a title. Anothe thing i really would have loved to see is match interference outside of rivalries. For example Dom and Rey had a rivalry and after the rivalry ends, Dom would occasionally try to interfere and screw Rey in his matches. That would be so dope!

It’s a shame they still don’t have promos when promos are such a crucial part to wrestling in general. Makes zero sense

Appreciate the heads up. I need to save money anyway. Only play these games for universe mode to create my own wrestling company using indie wrestlers and fired WWE wrestlers. But it's really not fun considering they remove promos, The game doesn't even really recognize your custom in universe mode. And the rivals just don't do it for me

When you see what improvements all the other teams did and then see what the universe team did it makes them look like the weak link on the team.

I wish 2k had taken story designer and merged it with Universe mode. Creating all you shows and rosters while have the freedom to assign cutscenes whenever you want would have been awesome.

I’m also upset they didn’t add much but maybe they’re planning to get rid of universe mode. What if they’re trying to see how Mygm does with all the new features to determine whether or not they make that one the new biggest mode

The issue is there’s no point of having gm and universe in separate modes. They go hand and hand. A simple fix is giving the option if you just want to be on the business side, be on the booking side or simultaneously do both. They have this on nba 2k. If you wanna sign players, recruit, trade you have the option to or not, then you can play games or simulate them. If you wanna do everything you can. The same company does it right on one game and fumbles on the other lmao sh*t makes no sense bro

The rivalry action where you can choose the opponents is something I've been asking for for years! . I'll take it

Can you do run-ins in universe mode? Or at least, can you choose who runs in through rivalry actions options?

First time coming across your channel. Good quality and production value. Plus, you're SPITTING. This mode should be fantastic. The potential is endless and it's ignored every year.

One thing I would love to see is being able to make a #1 contender vs champion rivalry, whether its the rumble winner or someone who won a contender’s match, imagine doing a contract signing and cutting a promo then brawling, that would be sick.

My biggest problem with Universe Mode is that it feels like they forgot what the entire purpose of the mode was: to make it feel like a show. Even if it's very minor, taking away stuff like show intros and promos make it just feel like a bunch of exhibition matches.

Yes I agree. There needs to be alot more added. One thing that is unbelievable to me. The fact that they don't have a match type or stipulation to have your match as a #1 contender match! Like that's what you do leading up to a ppv. That's the whole point of the show. And have the broadcast team commentary tell us its a number one contender match for upcoming PPV!! 2k23 cash in rivalry actions were only available under the reversal section for the champion choices

myGM should really be that sandbox that you talked about to a certain extent. Its too much strategy based when it should not be or at least have the option to turn it off.

Just got 23 with 24 purchase and trying to learn rivalry system for 24 play. For me, I get everyone is kind of angry but I’m personally excited especially that we can choose op specific opponents for rivalry set ups

What if i don't want rivalry actions to appear in my universe at all?

Something I noticed is it seems if a rivalry action changes a match, it appears that way on the match card which makes it a bit less predictable. So if the action changes the match to a triple threat, it appears on the card as a triple threat now. Thought that was neat. Also, special match types work again in rivalries. Other than that, yeah it’s the same

For a company that created a game for 8 months is not bad though, but if only they release this in a later months maybe more feature will be added in my universe. But for this year they focus on the new matches and the match details.

It’s so stupid that I can’t put PLEs on Saturday seeing as how PLEs take place on Saturdays now!!! There’s a lot of things wrong with universe mode that need to fixed.

As soon as they were hyping up the new match types being in universe we should’ve known something was up about it. they didn’t do it with my GM. My GM had most of the new matches besides gauntlet matches which makes sense due to the stamina system. I understand making new stuff being a challenge, but I don’t understand is removing old features instead of improving them if they have real reasons to remove promos, for example you need to tell us, but if you don’t tell us the reasons and I’m just gonna assume you remove them for no reason. Here’s what I think they need to do. They need to scrap showcase next year They need to update my faction less next year they need to update my GM less next year and focus solely on universe mode they need to rebuild it from the ground up to introduce the new things that we’ve been asking for universe mode that’s what needs to happen. The other modes for the most part are good universe, which has the most longevity is the problem and I feel like this game is going to die within the first month or two because sooner the new match types are going to get old 40 years of wrestlemania is gonna be played within the first three days then no one’s ever gonna touch it again same thing with my rise, and most people hate my faction are probably only going to play it to get certain superstar that are locked for this year but at that point, it’s not gonna be fun it’s gonna be a chore. I can tell this is an essay comment but all in all next year they better revamp universe mode. And hopefully this year is a wake up call that people love universe mode.

One thing I wish Universe Mode had was let us save a preset universe mode with all the things saved when copy and pasted. Trust me, it’s annoying af to have to reset up everything all over again if you made a mistake in your universe.

Man I been saying everything that they need to do in universe mode for the past 10 years. 1. Real promos not that crap they put in a few years ago 2. Backstage interviews 3. Multiple promos meaning people can interrupt promos in ring or from the ramp 4. Faction Rivalries 5. Being able to make rivalries matches for main events 6. Cutscenes at ppv's 7. Unlimited control to do whatever you want to do with a few exceptions 8. Backstage segments, fights, encounters etc 9. Being able to climb the titian Tron 10. Being able to be have the GM to come to the ring and announce things 11. Being able to go to the GM office and interact with the GM 12. Being able to sign contracts in the ring 13. Should be able to have the KO show, The Grayson Waller Effect and the Ding Dong hello show 14. Being able to interact with the crowd like taking sign and ripping it up or give them your shades or Cody giving kids his belt 15. 5 and 4 man entrances I know I'm missing a lot I been saying they should just combine my GM and Universe mode. After about a month I stop playing ever since 2k took over especially universe mode it was so bad last year you could not ever keep your tag teams together from Universe mode. I won't give them my money this year because that's all they really want I will buy it second hand when it goes on sale so 2k won't get the money. I miss Thq and yukes. There is no way they did all that stuff in WWE games from the late 90s to the last game the Thq did but this is what they give us in 2024.

Do we know how many new cut scenes were added? Feel like if was a good amount they would be promoting it.

i like that we getting new cutscenes, that unlike in past games i'm actually going to see them, i guess 2k at least listened to players complaining about the random oponent in rivalries and did something about it, now add more rivalry types, bring the freaking promos back and show intros and let us play the entire card without getting back to the card menu after a match, and ple's on saturdays and i guess fix the mitb cash in since apparently doesn't work in 2k24, it did in 2k23 though.

Give me an option to choose the winner for spectating. Universe is all about making a story, would be a nice feature to be able to choose a winner outside of simple simming.

honestly. universe mode was always limited and always will be because the game will never be able to fully give what people want in that mode. I knew that the first time that thq implemented it way back. Is why i have never used it. I just book my stuff in the exhibition play mode.

I 💯 %agree, after hearing about what was done with Universe mode it makes me not want to buy the game. That’s my main mode, I’m a creator I love creating arenas and superstars, that’s one main reason i play wrestling games for me to explore my creative field, but it’s so limited without universe mode not taken a major step forward. Universe means infinite but all they did was limited it.

Ngl, i wouldnt mind if they dropped showcase mode if it gave them more time to work on Universe mode and other modes.

If they have an option for Promos in GM mode, why can’t they have the same thing in universe mode? I don’t need to see an actual promo but if there’s something that at least helps push the rivalries further that would be great. Like there could be promo spots on the card that have effects on different wrestlers.

I'm going to give 2K a pass this year because they added in more match types and they had to do more polishing on the game. but if they don't update universe mode or give us story designer mode by 2K25 I'm going to lose it.

It's effing horrible knowing they have that card game thing knowing Universe Mode should be the main focus.

One thing about this is good is that it’s fixed hopefully it’s fixed where I can have a full stable again hopefully they update whatever isn’t fixed

No show intro I was like ok, hopefully there’s promos there ain’t no i still excited to play the new matches but I should be excited to play universe mode with the new matches, guess I gotta depend on my creativity.

Universe Mode was the only reason I even consider this game. definitely sticking to the last year game. the only reason I even have the last year game is because I got it on sale for half the price I'm not going to pay full price for DLCs what I want in universe mode is for it to be random with the match types because I do not like managing everything I would like the game to take on its own life for example if I'm playing Superstar mode and I see a rivalry going on that Sparks my curiosity it causes me to go outside of my character story to see whats going on. Hey probably a cutscene with my character sitting with the commentators watching the match. Or a cutscene with me backstage looking at the TV screen tuning into the match. I would love if they had cutscenes play out by themselves and give you the option to do your own thing It feels corny when it's all planned out with the cutscenes I think that should be optional because I do not like managing everything I rather be surprised and be like oh shoot I didn't expect that to happen maybe when I'm fighting somebody somebody comes to interfere that I never had any problems with costing me the match branching out to a new story to find out why that person did what they did hence the reason why they need promos I think we all are looking for that little RPG element in the universe mode I remember playing Raw 1 and 2 game back in the day and I used to plan out things I'm going to do like a sneak attack trap Etc if they added something like that in universe mode where I can decide to attack the opponent backstage and then security comes to separate us looking forward to the following week with the show a promo referencing what happened until they do things like this in universe mode it will always feel dry

I hate that you can only join one title division. I would like to be able to challenge for multiple belts. With storyline based rivalries. With More depth to the rivalry. The more heated the rivalry the longer the match and more serious match type.

I agree 2k needs to add more to universe mode promos and show intros and you should be allowed to have a ple event on a Saturday and sunday on the calendar year and also three on three rivalary or four on four rilvary

gm mode and universe mode should be one mode with the option to switch the gm part on or off when it comes to managing. Contracts ,draft and trades ...let there be voice over interactions, backstage, promos and everywhere like smackdown vs raw 2006 and 2007 season mode unpredictable cut sceens like wwe 12 or you create a story like wwe2k14, SVR 2011 backstage roamin like a wrestling GTA... IF THEY DO THAT ...PPL WILL QUIT THEY JOB PLAYIN THIS EVERYDAY 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I think it's just 2k purposely not giving us everything all at once, so that there'll always be something 'new' added each year. It's so obvious, so many things could've been patched in/fixed in 2k22 and 2k23 but they chose not to, in order to make 2k24 appear as 'new and improved'

I wish 2K adds more face-centric rivalry actions. There are too many heel-focused RAs!

Unless they add major additions to UM in WWE 2K25, this may be my last WWE2K game... it's the only reason why I play and if they really don't bother with it because it's "THQ's mode" (Which is a dumb*** excuse to me), they really have nothing else to offer me.... year after year, it keeps a lot of the same bugs, and when/if they finally they fix those, I find new ones arise.

I agree 100 percent. But at the same time it'll be the 1st time in a while that Universe is playable...I hope. I skipped 2 years because of the bugs, glitches and Data in danger of deletion.

You are 100% right! The mode hasn't really evolved much for the past 5 years. I'd love to see WWE2K work on a new mode that combines MyGM and Universe...basically Universe with options to draft, trade and manage Superstars contracts within the sandbox BUT without the limitations of playable Matchtypes and tiny roster/matchcard slots on your shows! If people don't want to bother with that make theses suggestions toggleble so you don't have to manage em. This mode needs more attention, if only for the reason that it keeps players engaged throughout the year. All the other modes like Showcase or MyRise while being nice additions are played once and never to be touched again by most players...the focus should shift away a little bit. And MyFaction....ist just a cashgrab and poor implemetation of a game as a service...with no benefits. You only lose out on FOMO not playing it and don't waste your time plaing the same boring matches.
