People think that this is somehow a knock on Jinder and it's not. Every one of the people that rightfully complain about this does so not because they don't like Jinder, but because this wasn't the right way to do it. Is it really so much to ask for some consistency in logic when it comes to wrestling? I mean, what's the rush to put the title on Jinder anyways? Well my guess is he will probably just be a transitional champion. Like as much as I would hate to see it I could imagine Orton winning the title back from Mahal at the next PPV. I mean I'm not a huge Mahal fan but I do like him so much better as the top champion then the bland and boring babyface Orton. Hell he is currently my favorite top title holder on either brand.
