Weird, I distinctly remember the elite this Funk's based on also having a kind of bowed leg look. I wonder if it's some kind of design choice? Or maybe a more base-level problem

I switched the championship belts around for my displays. I took The Big Green from this pack and put it on Iron Sheik. Then I put the regular Ultimate red shirt Hogan belt (the '85) onto this white shirt figure. Then I gave the Defining Moments belt to the red shirt figure. And presently the DM Hogan is not on display anymore as it was re-released better as the Mega Powers Hogan.

I think instead of Terry Funk Mattel should have used Roddy Piper, Iron Shiek, Big John Studd, or Ted Dibiase.

It's Terry Funk's branding iron with a double cross, cause he's listed from the double cross ranch. I'm not a big Hulk Hogan guy but it's justified that we're getting all these Hulk Hogan figures because of what he means to the sport and history of Pro Wrestling. Like he was the face of whatever company he worked for. That being said I like the Hollywood Hulk Hogan figures more. As always I'm happy to get your opinion and ideas on WWE/AEW figures and Pro Wrestling figures in general, thanks bro.

I'd love to get this Hogan but I may never get him, I wish I didn't have to get Funk to get Hogan and once it sells out people gonna ask the price for Hogan alone, so yeah, not willing to throw that amount of money now, you better believe I won't later...

Funny that you focus on the very minute issues like the legs on Funk when aesthetically the butterfly joint shoulders plus the small waist makes Funk's body look weird. The older Ultimate Editions were better in my opinon without the weird double shoulders.

They did the Big Green belt in black because the original LJN figure that this is emulating came with the belt done in black.

I'm sure others have mentioned it, but it's not so much the Big Green belt as much as it is the belt that came with LJN figures back in the day. Same colors and everything.

I don't know if I EVER seen Hogan in red trunks. I can recall seeing pics of him in all white but never red. Great figures though. I will get EVERY Hogan. Lol

I know I'm the minority but i absolutely don't like the look of the ultimate edition on some figures like terry funk. Hogan is good but Terry's body looks distorted because of the much smaller waist

If they were to make Stan Hansen as an ultimate edition, they could easily use the chaps from Terry to make Stan Hansen’s chaps, and they could use the hat, and the devil horn hands

I genuinely wonder mdt if the mattel team are a fan of john cena. E.g inaccurate attires, hats not fitting the heads, no re tooled ankle and legs on long jorts cena. Just sayin....
