Does it play the same? This looks straight from the Arcade. I feel like they should give it the Mortal Kombat Kollection treatment and release it for Xbox, PSN, and Steam

If it were to be re-released, it would be under the WWE name due to the World Wildlife Fund lawsuit. Although since 2K owns the rights to new WWE games now iirc, so this game may not get a re-release

As I got into wrestling in late 1997, this was the first exposure I had to Scott Hall pre-WCW so I didn't know he wrestled in WWF until I saw this game.

I read somewhere that Yokozuna would have had a fatality where he dropped the house lights on his opponent but it had to be scrapped for some reason.

To all in the comments who said this is a sega game and not PlayStation, WWF Wrestlemania the arcade game was released for super nintendo, sega genesis, sega 32X, sega saturn, sony playstation, MS DOS, and in the arcades. The version showed here is the arcade version emulated on MAME. BTW PlayStation version has no music during gameplay. There is music when you lose and at the character select. Same with the Saturn version but there is music before the fights.

KingCobra thanks for your 'video gameplay,' you actually made the 'Undertaker' look interesting, I find his moves in a 'human arena boring the same and never evolved.' He never excited me like 'Chris Benoit' for example, that was a 'Powerful Passionate fighter with great technical ability.'

Shogun, I like to use the term 'alledged' as Chris has not spoken to me from the dead. Internet studies show there is a possibility he was framed for 'falling in love' with a Wizards X. Now once you have 'Satan' involved in anything 'people have got to die for the Wizard to get it's sacrificial reward.' I hope if I died people wouldn't pin senseless life taking on me, but dig a little bit further and realise was this because she 'fell in love' with some Bitter, Satanic Worshippers X?

I remember this game very well and played it on SEGA in 1997 with my brothers when I was 14 years old. At that time I wished if they have added Diesel , Triple h, Owen Hart and British Bulldog and removed Doink , Bam bam beglow to have the strongest in the list at that time.

I like being Undertaker in this game, but I'm very disappointed that we can't choose his grey color as well. I really wish I can choose his grey color as well when I choose him as Player 1 cause grey is his true color. Yes, purple is his true color as well, but he wore grey first. Somebody please make Grey Undertaker Playthrough happen someday.

this is a sega game...not playstation btw...so you can easily get a sega emulator and play it.

This is arcade version. Not sega. Sega version don't have fatality.
