I got tired of it for a while too, but came back and its still a great game. New planes, well variants, are due out soon.

I can tell that this game's incredibly realistic when I can forward or rewind the video to any point and still believe that that's what the cockpit of that plane would look like in reality at that moment.

each side has distinct advantages and disadvantages, but I believe there is a much easier learning curve with allied fighters (as it was in the battle of britian, novice pilots were shooting down skilled 109 pilots as spitfires were easy to become aquainted with)

@HannibalFL86 Yeah thats fairly common in the 109s. I don't know if they were really this unstable but in this game they spin much more easily than the allied planes. Gotta go easy on the stick and make sure the plane is properly trimmed out.

I believe the player end tracks shrapnel and then then just tells other players when they are hit by it. Server side just has to let them where they got hit and by what. Yes, there is infantry, tanks, air, and limited boats all playing together at the same time. If you can see well enough, you can fly around town and strafe down individual troops.

Impressive flying! I'm glad your on my side I'm also a German fighter pilot. You must be 1 good reason why we're winning. Next week i might go back to being a paratrooper. I can be good at times and stink at other times.

I haven't played IL-2 in a while. It has a different feel overall. I remember needing to adjust quit a bit to the rudder in IL2 for snap shots but longer range shots seems much easier in IL2.

Haven't played this in a while, thinking of renewing but can I still use my BF109f-4 and g-2 tactics from IL2 on here =o

how does the FM of this compare to IL-2?

Sounds like a great game. But wouldn't a server tracking shrapnel increase lag? Do the servers/levels include all three sims at once? Is there ground combat as infantry?

Its a simulator, so it acts like a real plane. You throttle up and it starts to go. You throttle down it will start to slow down but you have plenty of momentum to work with.

I like how everyone says allied is easy mode, I have played both sides and its pretty balanced, axis tanks pwn, if used correctly axis airpower is on par with allied so it pretty much comes down to whos in the cockpit or in the tank that decides how well it works, I was on a mission with a guy who used Pnzr 3 and got 12 tank kills plus like 20 inf kills in a single life.

everything has its weakness in air tier1 is absolutely better for axis cause of 20mm's.. but then at tier3 has allied the lazors and the superclimber spit9.. so its pretty much based

he's in an allied plane of course that makes him look good....let's see him try to fly like that in an LW plane

No, this is a simulator, so when you lose speed in a climb or in a tight turn you will stall out. World War II planes couldn't climb like modern fighter jets.

Every sim has a slightly different flight model, so yeah, untill I got the hang of it, I probably would, just like you'd get beat in this game left and right untill you got the hang of it.

Late air war definetley favors allied. Spit9 and P38 keep their E so much better than any axis plane its not even funny. Axis can do well, but only working in teams of drag and bag. Any sort of turning will kill your E and the allies instantly gain the advantage.

First of all great video... ...all you people complaining about allied equipment need to stfu... axis equipment is better on every teir except maybe some of the early teir armor.
