LOL the commentator is Fred Atkins, who has been a football journalist for many years. he is also a respected football author. Forst and foremost though he is a Maidstone supporter ;)

It was the Maidstone volunteer radio broadcast and they even admitted they were likely to show their bias. If you don't like the commentary, simply turn it off. The game is not very complicated to even need commentary in reality.

Your high school was selling 12,000 tickets a game? Maidstone is a National League team, and this is a reasonable size stadium for a team in the 5th division.

@@f0t0b0y Most of the grounds at this level are smaller. As you see they are not purpose built but develop over time incrementally in response to demand and finances. The clubs with larger stadiums were more successful in the past. The clubs are not run for profit. They all lose money and keep going through local businesses and the fans. It’s much better to have a small ground full than a large one half empty. And the grounds are all different and quirky

'soccer' and 'high school' - so you're in the USA, right? You have bags of land out there. We don't. The UK has 65 million people packed into a small area. That's why our houses are smaller, and our stadiums are smaller!

I listened to the Wrexham feed and they were definately not the same commentators. In the 3rd goal they were so loud the audio just sounded grainy and choppy. Way to go Red Dragons.
