@@poisonplayer8297 Came across this video after picking up this cheap $120 eufy g32 from walmart two days ago. I've run the thing 15 times and always comes back with a strip of grey hair/dust/dirt and all sorts of other stuff I don't know where it gets it from!

The problem with a lot of robot vacs with the little spinning side/edge brushes is that they fling the rice all over rather than pulling it towards the main brush roller. I've seen Vacuum Wars and other reviewers complain about this and they say it's usually resolved by firmware updates that slow down the motors. Slower lets the little brush push instead of fling. Maybe Wyze can follow suit so the hard floor tests turn out better.
@vinhennessy38853 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your review. I think I’ll wait for a Wyze update before thinking of purchasing.

I have a Shark AI Ultra, but I just got one of these for $149 (at Walmart) for my son. I saw it on the shelf and it said LIDAR, so I did some research and looked at a few reviews, and you just can't beat the price. It's not self emptying like my Shark, but its LIDAR mapping is good and the app has more features. I would have probably not looked at a $149 robot twice, but this thing performs well above its price.

I would like to see the weight of material being put out compared to the amount of material being picked up. That would allow fair comparison to other vacuums. I also think other comments are correct and additional updates are coming...
@Hotled19443 жыл бұрын
Why is everyone so worried about mapping. If it is quiet and does a good job no matter how long it takes, And it’s reliable, it’s a good vacuum! Put it up against a Eufy 30c max or any Eufy since that is the price range your at.
@amirmoradi95952 жыл бұрын
Mapping matters a lot once you go beyond a small apartment. If your home is less than 1,000 sq ft then a random navigation vacuum is fine. But as you go beyond that size they become less efficient and will miss a lot more spots.

Regular seller of the Proscenic M7 (not M7 Pro) for 199 usd. They come new and work great. The mapping is easy and quick with an edge clean mode, it does not reset or get skewed, plus and this is big the suction is 2700pa .

As somebody with only hardwood floors, this thing is pretty great. No reason to spend double for just comparable results. My place is less than 900 square feet so I just run it again if I have to (this is usually because it forgets to go under the bed rather than failing to pick anything up, but you can assign it specific rooms instead of doing a whole clean again), and 2 runs is still less than an hour.
@mikearrigo56742 жыл бұрын
I can't say for sure but it kind of sounds like that motor that is starting and stopping is the brush roll, that would certainly explain the bad carpet performance.
@KyGuy20022 жыл бұрын

Would you recommend this or the roborock a4?
@Wacko_5.03 жыл бұрын
I would say this robot is good for someone who is buying their first robot vacuum, but for someone who can swing the extra money there are absolutely much better options. But even at this robot's normal MSRP I would still want to dish out the extra bit of money for something like a Roborock S4 which you can get on sale right now on amazon for $300. It has a lot more features as far as the map goes and has better cleaning ability.
@AdrianLauf3 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing the less-than-expected carpet performance has to do with the intermittent brushroll operation. Were you able to confirm that it's starting and stopping? That has to be the only other motor that can be doing anything like it - LIDAR is, in comparison, essentially quiet, side brush was clearly spinning, and vacuum motor was doing just fine. If that is the case, then that's not good news for getting dust and fine debris out of carpets, if the brushroll is working less than half of the time. Maybe with repeated cleanings... Wonder if there's a way to fix - perhaps replace the power FETs for the brushroll, or figure out how it's doing load detection and change a part or two so that it doesn't immediately assume that the brushroll is stuck when it's on a carpet environment.

I will try and test that in the next test. thanks

If you move the charging base to another location will the vacuum find it without remapping? Also how do these work around furniture? Say you rearrange your room will the vacuum learn the new layout or would you have to remap the whole house again to account for the changes that were made?

I am surprised it has a 3200mah battery and doesnt do that well. My old neato xv series has a 3200mah battery and it goes for about 100 minutes on a full charge. Although it does have two of them, but they are in series so the capacity shouldn't be increased by that.
@DamorahTalset2 жыл бұрын
It does do 100 minutes, and actually is advertised as such. It was 98% after 2 minutes. That's a 1% to 1 minute ratio, so 100% = 100 minutes.

For DB reading the mic should be about 3 feet (1 meter) or you will get poor readings. Also you need to measure how much rice and beans you put down vs how much it picked up.

I noticed the brushes already looked bent. Am I seeing that? Also, might want to mention that the battery is permanent and can’t be replaced if there’s an issue. I would think power suction, movement, and LIDAR mapping would take its toll on the battery and Wyze would make it replaceable.

Some have complained that you're too hard on these robots, but I think you're too EASY on these devices. These robots are supposed to replace vacuuming by hand but even the most expensive models leave stuff behind!!! For example those jelly beans...Anyone vacuuming by (gasp!) "hand" would be able to get ALL of the jellybeans, but it seems even the best models will leave a few behind. That's after paying substantial amounts for all of these products. Frankly, I don't see the point of paying so much for a robot vacuum only to have to go behind it and finish the job! I'm going to give this technology at least a year before I invest in it. Maybe by that time they will truly be able to fulfill their function without babysitting them because of error codes, getting stuck some-where or clogging with debris. Even the models with the separate automatic suction tanks have issues removing the contents entirely from the robots requiring additional babysitting. A robot that vacuums the house without attention would be a wonderful product, but so far, from what I've seen in your reviews none of the models can achieve that goal.

Adam, don't you think the problem is that this robot actually runs to fast? Was it just my imagination or did it look very fast compared to something like the Roborock? Is that not why it is struggling to pick up embedded dirt on the carpet - it just rolls over it to quickly? Price wise, I still think it is not a bad robot at all.
@AdamsReviews3 жыл бұрын
It could be....Yes for $200 its probably the best option but if u get to the $300+ range I would do roborock.

Some people think that these Robots are supposed to Completely make it a hands-free vacuuming but your still supposed to pick your vacuum up once a week and clean unless laziness is your middle name. Also lets talk about price. The Price of the Bot is not bad for the job it did there is too much bitching on this video. This is a very Bias opinion because its all about the RoboRock. From what it seem nothing can stand up to that it sounds. have a more open mind and you get what you pay for......
