The thing about Charles Xavier is this: He makes his decisions, his plans, as though everyone else can read his mind and know his intentions. Which they can't. But he can't understand why people take issue with his plans, without realizing that they don't and can't know what he's thinking.

They need to shut down Bastion first and then fix the magnetic field. Otherwise, once the Earth's magnetic field is restored first and Bastion remains active, he will continue to slaughter mutants. Plus, Scott saw Gold team is about to fail shutting down Bastion. That's why Scott said Gold team needed more time.

Seasons 1 & 2 were confirmed at the start. As to the Cable being brainwashed. Don't forget, Madelyne couldn't just break out of it on her own either! She had to be reminded about Nathan before she could! I wonder what it'll take to break Cable out! *AND* now that he has Cable...will he take some more of his DNA and work on his villain counterpart?! Also... I *LOVED* what they teased with Xavier and Magneto...before Cyke interfered!!

Glad to see you guys finally catch up with the episodes. This episode is truly remarkable, and the action is masterful! THAT ENDING WAS INSANE! While I understand Charles's reasoning for giving Magneto the mansion, the man still neglected his students and pupils. He willingly gave his mansion and the X-Men to his archenemy just so Scott and Jean could take a break, which is pretty silly. Look where they are now: on the brink of war, thousands of people and modern infrastructure have died due to Magneto's EMP, and the magnetic polarity of the Earth has shifted so much that the world will eventually end in a couple hours if not stopped, Professor X has lost two team members to Magneto (Rogue quite literally went rogue)and Magneto's line: "God's abandon those who believe in them" is such a powerful line. I love how their outfits are references to the 1960s and 1970s costumes. I love how Storm and Jean see each other as sisters, and their bond together is really wholesome. That line: “Make them mind your weather, sister. And them weather your mind" is such a good line! That Mister SInister and Jean fight was dope, and Jean using bowling balls against Sinister was both badass and funny. I find it interesting that Bastion still loves his mother despite what he did to her and turned her into a sentinel zombie, which makes me think he's not as emotionless and robotic as we were made to believe since he is part human. It's scary how powerful Bastion is, considering he's essentially a one-man Sentinel factory. I like how the show also explains a lot of plot holes without feeling like exposition. Nah, the animation in this show is PHENOMENAL AND GIVES ME MAJOR ANIME VIBES, I LOVE IT! Magneto has wanted to say "SHUT THE F*** UP" to Charles for a while, and that alone is hilarious! MAGNETO STRAIGHT-UP PULLING OUT LOGAN'S ADAMANTIUM, JUST LIKE IN THE COMICS, WAS BRUTAL ASF!!! I can't wait to see the finale this week, and hopefully, they stick the landing because this show has been excellent so far, and if the ending doesn't land, then it would feel really unsatisfying.

They've actually renewed the show for a couple of seasons, I believe 3. I heard there's material written for the show for 5 seasons by Beau but it's more of an outline of what he wanted for each season

Kind of a dick move by Storm. Hope that tech isn't needed when a Sentinel is pushing it's hand through your Mother's chest. Sinister is a villain but he knows his genetics. Cable is the strongest telekinetic/telepath but is constantly nerfed by having to focus on keeping his techno organic virus pushed to his arm with his telekinesis.

The showrunner got fired (supposedly for a non-sexual only fans, but no one really knows), so even if there is a season 2, most likely it will have a corpo imposed money maker to leech off the success of a guy who genuinely loved the old cartoon and comics. This is probably it, sadly. If it does go on, I expect a signifigant drop in quality.
