This is probably the best thing Marvel has made in the past few years, maybe even exceeding the MCU in quality (yeah, I said it). The character arcs & their characterizations, Magneto being great as always, the fact that we just jump right into the established world of character dynamics, individual histories, & cameos of Marvel superheroes without having to individually set up all these characters (though I guess being a continuation of a seasons-long series does help with that lol), the glorious subtext of mutants as representations of marginalized peoples that's brought to the forefront on multiple occasions, the colorful and vibrant animation that would be very hard to pull off in live action, the well-choreographed and inventive fight scenes, etc. There's just so much to love here, I can't wait for where they're gonna go next.

Honestly this whole series deserves an Oscar. The soundtrack, especially Storm in that sentinel scene just makes the hairs stand on the back of your neck. Cyclops being shown as the bad ass he is in the comics, that fight scene against the foh, gambit against mastermold, magneto ripping the adamantium out of Logan, cable saying goodbye to his parents brought a tear to my eyes, gambits death, Nathan being sent away, bastion just giving serial killer vibes I could go on and on. Apocalypse reveal and the foreshadowing of gambit becoming death I’m gonna stop writing now 😂😂

In X-men Evolution, both he and Alex use their power to land after falling from Asteroid M. The scene flashes back to both he and Alex jumping out of their burning plane on a single parachute, with their parents still aboard. Such a touching scene and 0:05 brings back all those wonderful memories.

I don't even understand why people are being hard on her-or any character-to begin with, or the instinct to moralize their like/dislike of a fictional character. This is a TV show, not a court of law. No-one's actually dead, y'all. People would get way more out of this if they asked "what circumstances would drive *me* to this extreme" or "what would I do given the circumstances" when a character goes to an extreme like Rogue did. Fiction isn't a competitive sport.

Cyclops is completely resistant to the energy of his and his brothers energy beams, so that's why his neck doesn't snap any time he uses his optic blasts, even while standing still. By technicality that also means that it shouldn't even be possible to slow his descent like that since he won't get affected anyway, but who cares - it's the rule of cool and the scene was awesome so there's no point arguing it
